"I'm for Mitt Romney"--"quick, close those doors!"

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...
Quote:George W. Bush is backing presumptive Republican White House nominee Mitt Romney. The former president offered a four-word endorsement of Romney as the doors of his elevator were closing after a speech Tuesday in Washington. Bush said: "I'm for Mitt Romney." ABC News caught Bush after the speech, prompting his unscripted — but not surprising — endorsement. Romney's campaign issued a brief statement welcoming the support. Since leaving office in January 2009, George W. Bush has tried to avoid politics.

It deeply saddens me to see Letterman go off on this Marxist in Chief, and claim he's some sort of great leader. ( Dear Leader, is more like it ) I remember when Dave was cheerful and funny. Not everyone 'got' his sort of humor, but I usually laughed. Now, he's just old, bitter and sad. The dude was boinking his own staff, and CBS just shrugged and let him get away with it. Of COURSE he feels invincible. Who wouldn't ?
