Hello,

Unsure if this has been posted before. Hornady is now marketing a line of ammo specifically for killing zombies. (Or really for zombie enthusiasts to buy as a lark.)

I think it's cute. I might buy a box if they make it in .357 or .38. Then I can equip my six-shooter with anti-zombie ammo and recreate The Walking Dead with evil aluminum cans or zombie fruit. ;-)

Watch out for that zombie fruit. It's infectious. It won't kill and zombify you, but it'll make you FEEL like it for a day or two.

The same is also true of zombie hotdogs and zombie cans of chili. And remember, if you're in the position of having to eat discarded food, condiments only mask the danger.

The Hornady zombie ammo is the same stuff as their critical defense product. With the exception that the critical defense ammo has an orange polymer ball in the hollowpoint and the zombie ammo has a green polymer ball.

Not that it isn't good ammo. It has been really reliable in my 1911 and my Glock 17. No failures to feed or extract, and it always went bang. I've only got a combination of 100 rounds expended. But the zombie ammo is just marketing. Good for Hornady that someone in their marketing department gets it.
