I'd really like to see Angel and Spike fight Batman and Robin.

I can see Angel kicking Batman's ass while Robin unexpectedly kicks Spike's ass and later Spike gets really mad when Angel teases him about it.

Also, any chance Joss and Alyson H. would agree to an appearance of Willow on Charmed?

Charmed, lol. I think Charmed is not for me, but I used to think Buffy was lame until I actually watched it so I hate to rip on Charmed without watching.

But it seems to copy Joss in a complimenting way, but not quite as good. From what I've seen.

ANGELDOVE

I don't know about Willow crossing over to Charmed, I just don't think Joss would go for that. And having watched Charmed, and actually enjoying it the first couple of years (up to season 4 was OK, but never great TV) I have become increasingly upset by the show's blatant use of sex to increase ratings and bring in that young men crowd everyone is trying to garner. How much more scantilly clad can Alyssa Milano get without being naked. I couldn't believe the network let them get away with that paint over boobs in the mermaid episode. I think this show should have died after season 5 and to know that it is getting another season and Angel isn't just upsets me all the more. There is no comparison between Charmed and the Buffyverse.

So last week the witches were fighting dominatrix deamons and had to assume their identity to rescue Piper. Lots of very tight leather.

This week it is the sexy evil twins of the sisters lots of sexy black.

The week before last they used past scenes to advertise the episode, sexy scenes, that didn't even appear in the episode which The WB titled as "Naughty Witches"

And the list goes on. It really doesn't say much for the writing of the show if you have to constantly use sex to distract the viewer from it. I'm not bitter, really.

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and they CANCELLED MY FRIKKIN' SHOW. I totally shoulda took the road that had all those people on it. Damn." --Joss

Oddly enough, as a guy, I agree with you completely. Although, as a guy, I have to admit that I LIKE Alyssa Milano wearing as little as they can get away with on the show. However, this show has gotten SO BAD that I don't even watch it to see her anymore. It's not worth sitting through all the lame, meaningless dialogue and pointless, SO not funny, ?jokes?

It wasn't a bad show early on, but it was never really good, and I think I would have cancelled it a year earlier than you would have.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh, because there certainly are worse things than "Charmed" on tv - (insert any reality show name here) - But, realistically, "Charmed" is long past it's prime and "Angel" isn't. The WB is cancelling the wrong show!

First off I'd like to say that I'd rather see Angel and Wesley VS Batman and Robin. And yeah, Batman would win. Come on, if he can take Superman, as long as Superman's holding back or doused with kryptonite, I'm sure a vampire wouldn't be a bigger challenge. Unless...

Angelus follows Batman through the night without him knowing it and follows him back to the Batcave. I'm not sure if he can enter the cave, but Bruce's identity would surely be revealed. From there, unless Angelus starts playing with his ass, I believe Angelus could take him out before he knew what hit him.

Anyway. I agree with the horror of Charmed, American Idol, Tremors: The Series, and other lesser shows that have remained on the air while Joss' work keeps getting the chop year after year. The only logical conclusion is that there is a conspiracy against Joss Whedon. That's right... a conspiracy. I wanted to make a post thread out of this but this will do. I believe that somewhere in the ranks lies a disgruntled VP or possible ex-employee of Joss' that is dead set against his success in Hollywood. Really, if it weren't for us fans Firefly wouldn't be becoming a movie, Angel and Buffy would never return to the screen in there proposed TV movies (hope I didn't just jinx the whole damn thing), and whatever else is going on right now that I'm not too sure about at the moment. I think that it shows a lot that Joss doesn't get the majority of ratings, because let's face it, if I could go one day without hearing about fking American Idol I'd probably piss on myself out of shear joy! Hope I didn't offend any AI fans. God, I hope I didn't offend any AI fans on this site.

But that's the jist of it. Joss pissed somebody off, but no matter how much they try, we browncoats keep on coming. That's just my thoughts, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Joss has been told, "I'll make sure you never work in Hollywood again!" Haha, he can't be stopped though, I have faith in Joss.

What Bikisdad said! My wife and I stopped watching Charmed this season for the very same reasons. Everytime we sat down to watch it, we'd say: "This show has gotten so ridiculous. Why do we keep watching it?" So, we stopped. I enjoyed it through season 3. The season 3 finale, where SD's character died, was one of the best finales I've ever seen. And, I think I remember reading on zap2it.com some time ago that Charmed has been renewed through season 7.

"What's sanguine mean again?"

I actually think it would be more likely that Spike kick the snot out of Robin, but Batman kicks Angel's butt and Spike teases him about it... its just so much more of a Spike thing to do.

Wow! When did Batman beat Superman? Was that in Jeph Loeb's Hush?

Anyway, I hate Robin (lose the short shorts!) but I'd love to see Batman throw Spike and Angel through a window. Wow, that could have been the greatest cross-over ever. Seriously, that would rule.

Well, it depends a bit with which Robin, and the initial conditions.

If it's the second Robin, Jason Todd, I tihnk he's dead meat. Third Robin, Tim Drake, would probably be smart enough to beat a tactical retreat and at least would be able to stay out of range to get beaten.

The first Robin, Dick Grayson/Nightwing, _might_ be able to take Spike. Still mostly fighting by staying out of range, but with a few well-placed attacks here or there.

Batman could take either Angel or Spike. He might be at a disadvantage at first, but once he figures out that it's a vampire, he's got the fight in the bag.

Of course, all we big comic geeks would know what'd really happen. The two groups meet, fight for a little bit at first out of a misunderstanding, and then realize they're on the same side and team up to take down Wolfram & Hart and the Joker, who have teamed up already. ;)
