Fox's words, not mine.

Beckel's a hard, extreme far Left winger.

He wouldn't know the truth even if it was dipped in chocolate and covered in sprinkles.

FOX aired Obama's OWN WORDS, and Beckel tries to say FOX lied?

That's fucking hi-larious!

Obama said what he said. He meant what he said! The "lie" is what Beckel and the Obamabots are trying to claim, that Obama DIDN'T say what we all heard him say.

Obama's words, not FOX's.

You know the drill...There are FOUR lights , yadda yadda.

Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

I think it's plain what Obama meant to say. Success is rarely ever the product of one man striving alone in a vacuum.

And I think Obama is very sorry he provided that phrase as spoken, which could be pulled out of his speech and used against him.

I think that one day, all speeches will be analyzed one sentence at a time to determine each sentence's potential for use in a propaganda campaign.

This will make every speech a collection of carefully selected and rehearsed one-line slogans, and it will make paragraphs and pages rather uninteresting as a whole.

Only that's NOT what he said. And no one has ever claimed that to be the case. But what Obama said is... " You didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen ".

His EXACT words.

That Kwickie and the rest of the extreme, hard core far Left are still trying to defend this, only goes to show how scared and desperate they are over this. This is huge. It's a game changer, and all the spin and Baghdad Bob attempts at telling everyone that we didn't hear what Obama flat out stated himself, continues to be laughable.

Sadly, Anthony, I think that's already what's done in the political arena.

What's truly amazing is that the ad they played didn't even include the controversial statement, it quoted him saying "you didn't get there on your own". Which is absolutely valid, and has been said by politicians and presidents time and time again. Citing Romney alone:
Quote:

“You Olympians, however, know you didn’t get here solely on your own power,” said Romney
Wanna contrast those two statements? The statement played on FauxNews is virtually the same statement Romney made. So Raptor's right; those were Obama's words, and they were Romney's, too. Try that on for size!

Given we know what Raptor's actually trying to say was about the other statement, it matters not that Obama used the word "that" rather than "those". It's been gone over again and again and what he meant has been shown to be perfectly clear; I'm sure he does regret the choice of that one word, but that doesn't excuse the editing and misconstruction of his speech. He made it extremely clear what he was saying, both before and after the unfortunate "that".

I loved hearing what Beckel said, it was one of the few honest things I've ever heard from FauxNews. Personally I don't know how he can affiliate himself with them, as they are the worst of the worst of propaganda pushers. I'm kind of sorry for him, trying to speak the intelligent truth out of frustration when he KNOWS it will go nowhere. The whole thing is a mountain out of a molehill--and actually, not even a molehill, just a tiny bump in the ground. But they love it, and will bandy it about until the cows come home. Beckel's frustration is obvious, and how an intelligent man can sit there and listen to this crap without wanting to scream is beyond me.
Quote:

And no one has ever claimed that to be the case
Funnier than hell. It's been argued incessantly, it's been clarified, and it's what ROMNEY himself said several times. We don't need to go over that again; saying nobody has claimed what Obama actually said merely indicates that Raptor only listens to the right.

Beckel is someone FauxNews feels is valid enough to have on their show--his biography is on their website; they obviously feel what he has to say is valid or they wouldn't have him working for them. Dismissing him as a leftie, when everything he said is absolutely valid, is just the usual idiocy and not worth paying attention to. It's natural that when all you hear is the bullshit, you buy into it and spout it everywhere. That's how FauxNews works. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows the truth; unfortunately Raptor has displayed that he doesn't have two brain cells, or else is just to lazy to use them, and prefers to spout the extremist line, despite the facts. It's pretty feeble, but unless he hears actual facts, which he never will as all he pays attention to is the worst of the right, nothing will change.

I hope Obama and the Left keep poking the hornets nest, and try to claim that he didn't say what everyone HEARD him say.

Folks out in real America are absolutely furious, and get angrier each time anyone says " that's not what Obama said ".

It's EXACTLY what he said, because he meant it. Obama's a big govt marxist, having grown up that way, and never even set foot on mainland USA until he was going to college... an elitists Left wing institution in Occidental, and then off to Harvard. The dude is a dyed in the wool marxist, and absolutely HATES the individual, freedom , or the spirit of the pioneer, which is what literally built this nation.

Just keep at it, y'all.

Absolutely astonishing, isn't it Mike? There it is, right in front of them, text in black and white, and Romney saying the same thing, twice even, and they're so collossaly stupid they keep repeating the same worthless lie, as if none of it existed. Would blow the mind, if one didn't already understand.

I wonder just HOW totally soaked in right-wing rhetoric one has to be before one completely stops using one's brain and accepts that intelligent people will view them as a complete moron. Does one have to eat, breathe and sleep it, or can one absorb it through osmossis if they only listen to bat-shit crazy conservative talk radio 24/7? Is it worth it? Just weird. Would there be anything LEFT of Raptor if you wrung him out? Any semblance of a real human being, or just a skin filled to bursting with right-wing propaganda. How truly piteous...

Niki - They're not saying the same thing.

If I have to further explain this to you, you're either too stupid to understand, or you DO understand, and you're just too stubborn and dishonest to admit it.

Pick one.

Didn't Romney spend more time at Harvard than Obama did?

Guess he's even more "marxist" than Obama!

No wonder he said the same thing, nearly word for word.

"...and never even set foot on mainland USA until he was going to college..."

Of course you know this is an outright lie.
