I love when Spike is trying to act the bad ass, and has those long monologues promising to kill or maim the object of this diatribe, then has something ridiculously funny happen to him. Here are some that I remember off hand:

Lovers Walk - BTVS Season 3
While watching Angel:
Spike: Yeah, you. You think I'm afraid of you?
Spike: We were happy! You brainwashed her. I could just...
Spike: Yeah, I'll show *you* who's a cool guy. You're goin' down.
In his drunkenness he trips over one of the flower beds, falls into it
and passes out. Dawn ascends and Spike's hand is in direct sunlight, it bursts into flames.

Wild At Heart - BTVS Season 4
While watching Buffy
Spike: Watch your mouth, little girl. You should know better than to tempt the fates that way. 'Cause the big bad is back, And this time, it's... Suddenly he's being electorcuted Urrgh! Aaaahhh! The commandos take him away

In The Dark - ATS Season 1
Spike talking to himself after losing the Gem of Amara
Spike: “Son of a bitch! - I do the work, - I do the digging, - fight off a Slayer, - drive to LA, fire the help, - and what do I get? - ROYALLY SCREWWED, is what! - Well that cinches it. No more partners. From now on I’m my own man. A lone wolf. Sole survivor. Look out, here comes Spike! The baddest mother…a beam of sunlight from one of the bullet holes in the ceiling hits the back of his head and his hair ignites Ahh! he ducks and puts his hair out with his hands I really hope they kill each other.

Can any of you think of any others? I know there is one where he is talking shit to Buffy (or about her) and then walks into an open grave, but for the life of me I can't place it.

ANGEL: Look, I can't do this anymore.
SPIKE: Admitting defeat, are you?
ANGEL: You and me. This isn't working out.
SPIKE: Are you saying we should start annoying other people?

Wasn't Spike going off on how he was going to kill Buffy before her mom whacked him with an axe? I love when he demonstrates the even later for Joyce when she recognizes him.

and best of all they really become something like friends after that. Spike always liked Joyce and never even tried to harm her. off course she made him hot chocolat with the little marshmallows. that I - by the way - being german don't know and now really want to know, do you put marshmallows into the hot chocolate? how does drinking it work? hot chocolate is hot milk with sugar and cacao, right? kids drink it instead of coffee and some kids like Spike never grow up. marshmallows are some kind of sweet squishy things of undefinable content. usually white and rhombus shaped, right? and that goes together exactly how? I'm just curious. I learn so much useless stuff from watching my TV in english.

I never was a fan of Joyce but I always loved Spike and Joyce together. they had a fantastic friendship.

MAUGWAI

The marshmellows are usually small. They are made pretty much entirely of sugar, so they're sweet and your tongue bumps against them when you drink. It's basically throwing squishy candy into liquid chocolate. Yummy.
