A chairde,
This new site is so crappy and slow, it takes forever on my computer to do anything and my attention span has suffered of late, can someone give me the link to the old site format? It went way faster and was just easier to use, thanks in advance. If it doesn't move faster I think I'll have to finish up here because it just takes too much time.

Old site works a ton better for me Riona. Good luck with it. As a bonus, I'll be able to see in my email when you reply

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Funny how tastes differ; I tried going back to the old version and hated it, so came back to the newer one! May have something to do with speed, since I detect no difference in both where that's concerned, I just found it interesting. The ONLY thing I like about the old version is that I can correct the title of a thread if I need to, so I keep the URL to do just that.

I thought the old site went inactive or some such. Huh.

This one's prettier, imo, but I'm still kinda partial to the older one as well.

New site seems slower on a Mac, plus the whole "frames" issue (things just go right past the edge of the frame, cutting off about half the post), plus the thing with pages... I like the whole thread to load on one page, OR to load the last replies first, which the new site doesn't do...

The old site is best for me.

I love the old site Kwick. Blue has been my favorite color since I was in pre-school.

As I've mentioned before, the Red site hasn't figured out how to notify in emails of new replies.

It's less glitchy than the new site as well, and it automatically logs me in every time instead of having to try to post somewhere and getting the "oops" page and having to log in every 20 or so minutes.... particularly annoying in the middle of one of my notorious long posts.

The only downside of the blue site is going to my GD thread where there are 200 posts. Takes a while to load that up when it's not just the last 10 posts being loaded.

I know there are some cool things about the new site, but it's not enough to make me switch until they make the new site everything the old site was. Thanks again for the link.

I'm lucky - even 200-reply threads load fast for me, at least at home. My home network is downloading at more than 22Mb/sec. It's more than ten times as fast as my work network with the same provider. :)
