Please join us on Saturday, September 29 starting at 7:00 for screenings of SERENITY and DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG as well as live music from Hello, the Future!, an auction of collectibles, and prizes!

We are excited to present our fifth year of Can’t Stop the Serenity–Orange County!

The evening will feature screenings of:
SERENITY (the Big Damn Movie, of course) and “Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog”.

Plus live music from Hello, The Future!, featuring “all manner of geekery”, including songs about our beloved “Firefly”. Check out “Big Damn Heroes”, a new Firefly song written for CSTS 2012, at

The evening will also include an auction of collectibles, a fun prize drawing, and cool merchandise for sale.

All this fun feels even better because we are raising money for Equality Now, the organization fighting to promote and protect the human rights of women and girls around the world.

CSTS-OC will once again be at the Starplex Woodbridge Movies 5 where they always treat us right! Parking is FREE and plentiful. They have a fully stocked concession stand including popcorn, candy, drinks, $1 hot dogs, and more. The theater is in the Woodbridge Village Center on Barranca Parkway between Lake and Creek streets. Woodbridge Movies 5 is on the Lake street side of the shopping center and faces the parking lot.

Tickets are $15 each. Your purchase online in advance for will call tickets is appreciated, but tickets will also be available for sale that night.

CSTS-OC is tomorrow (Saturday) starting at 7:00! Hope to see lots of folks there having a fun time for a great cause!

We will have tables set up in the lobby of the theater (you do not need to stand in line outside). So come on in to pick up your prepaid tickets, buy tickets, get merch, drool over auction items and prizes, etc.

One item for sale in merchandise is a shiny 57th Overlanders Challenge Coin commissioned by the California Browncoats and designed by Adam Levermore. It is struck by a company that makes challenge coins for military units. It has heft, and shine, and is so cool!

Carbine Studios, creators of Wildstar, a new MMORPG game likely to appeal to Browncoat gamers, has donated some seriously shiny items for auction to support Can't Stop the Serenity-Orange County as we raise money for Equality Now! Thank you Carbine Studios!

In addition to two duffel bags of cool Wildstar swag, Carbine Studios is offering one lucky winner a full day behind the scenes visit to Carbine Studios! The winning bidder (or the person they designate) will tour Carbine Studios, choose Wildstar teams to shadow as they create the game, and get to ask lots of questions about the making of the MMO game. Plus the winner will go out to lunch with a bunch of the Wildstar folks. What a great opportunity to see an MMO game as it's made and meet with the creative minds behind it! Carbine Studios is located in Orange County.

Wildstar is a new MMO game in beta stage with themes and a look and feel likely to appeal to fans of Firefly and Serenity. Carbine Studios was formed by a bunch of gamers looking to make the Next Great MMO.
