Republican strategist Karl Rove has a lot to answer for.

After spending over $300 million to get GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney elected, and after an embarrassing moment of denial over the election results on live TV Tuesday night in front of millions of viewers

Rove took to the airwaves Wednesday and Thursday to answer the obvious question: What went wrong?

During several TV appearances on Fox News and Fox Business Channel, and in a defiant op-ed the Wall Street Journal published Wednesday, Rove ticked off nearly two dozen reasons why the Republicans lost the election, from the GOP's "problem with Latinos" to Hurricane Sandy, which Rove said "interrupted Mr. Romney's momentum."*

to count Rove's many explanations for Romney's loss Tuesday night.

*Two of Rove's factors accounting for Obama's win were outlined in his WSJ op-ed, not in any of his TV appearances, which is why they are not included in the video above. Those factors are 1) the New York Times editor who gave the headline "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" to Romney's 2008 op-ed, and 2) the release of the videotape from Romney's private fundraiser which showed the Republican nominee saying that 47 percent of Americans were dependent on the government.

HE WON, idjits! Come up with as many excuses as you want: HE WON!

This one's fun, too:

Karl Rove admits the GOPsters took a dive, decided way back in 2011:

Only an idiot thinks a US presidential election took place in 2012. Romney's only job was to keep Ron Paul out of the White House so Hussein Obama can give the jew banksters another $50-trillion plus another quadrillion$ in derivatives.

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

BYTEMITE

I recall that I called Mitt Romney as the Republican candidate three years ago, and also that he'd lose the election. He is, simply, a losing candidate. The GOP choosing him and the inevitable outcome does nothing to dissuade me from the possibility that our election system may be rigged with results planned well in advance.

Unfortunately I can't prove it one way or another.

FREMDFIRMA

Of course it is - the electors are selected in a process far from transparent that involves a whole lot of horse trading and deals made in smoke filled backrooms far from the public eye.
On average this happens at least eight MONTHS before the actual dog and pony show, and very little changes the lineup in between then.

I mean, really, do you even KNOW who your electors are ?
Any idea how they got there ?
Just because it isn't public doesn't mean there's not evidence.

Follow the money, who paid who, and for what, through the trail of electors and you have a lock on the results long before they come to pass - it wasn't JUST statistical math behind 538, it was also knowledge of how the system works and what deals were made at the state level in exchange for those electoral votes.

Rove bet on a certain level of electronic flakery to subvert the process.
Flakery which some way, some how, failed to occur, an event which I think will forever remain a mystery, guess it was... just a glitch.

Besides which, NO amount of money or propaganda is gonna convince americans to support such an obvious tool, and frankly most of the efforts behind it caused backlash cause for every voter suppressed they enraged one or more who would not have otherwise voted, and it's proven fact (just look at their foreign policy!) that the GOP has no comprehension of a thing called backlash.
