Greetings All,

I hope that there might be some folk hereabouts that live in ABQ-SF area of New Mexico. If you do, then let me extend an invitation to join my "firefly-inspired" RPG. Here's my blurb on it...

"“It’s the 22nd century and the Earth is full up, so humanity moved out and colonized a whole shipload of worlds. Some rich and flush with the new technologies. Some...not so much. The Core Planets, them as formed the League of Planets, waged war to keep everyone under their rule. Few idiots tried to fight it, among them – myself.

I'm Malcolm Reynolds, Captain of the Excalibur. She's an armed merchantman, Firefly-Class. If you’re lookin’ for adventure – we got it. Don't much care what your past is – long as you are loyal to your shipmates and can handle yourself when things start getting rough. Which tends to happen pretty often in our line of work.”

As you can see I am HEAVILY mining our favorite TV series for my campaign. The campaign uses GURPS 3rd Edition rules plus elements from the GURPS Traveller and GURPS TransHuman Space books. We tend to play an average of about two Saturday evenings a month at the GM’s home in Placitas. Mature players of any age or gender are welcome and around these parts, your imagination, commitment and enthusiasm are more important than your gaming experience.

The campaign is intended to be a f2f campaign but if anyone has broadband connection we do have an opening for the ship's sentient AI so you could join us that way.
