"Obama inc...."

"These objections have little to do with the Koran and a great deal to do with Muslims imposing Islamic law on non-Muslims in Western countries. And Obama has chosen to collaborate in that assault on civil rights. Again. "

Because a case is coming before an Obama nominated judge. Inference being Obama hs control over decisions made by judiciary.

"Time Magazine recently celebrated the Mayor for his record in Chicago. "

quote at the end of an article describing how 8 people have been murdered in one day. Inference that the policies of Democratic Mayor have directly caused the deaths.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Define "outrageously partisan".

Is it "outrageously partisan" to ask for actual FACTS when one claims that, say, the acting head of the IRS visited the White House 157 times, when there is no record of that number of visits by him?

Is it "outrageously partisan" to ask for evidence when someone claims that the president is "the WORST in history"? (Somehow, it is definitely NOT seen as "outrageously partisan" to ask for evidence when someone posts that a tornado in the midwest was the "worst in history", I've noticed)

So what exactly does "outrageously partisan" mean?

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

"I was wrong" - Hero, 2012

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

Partisan - the term is widely understood to carry a negative connotation - referring to those who wholly support their party's policies and are perhaps even reluctant to acknowledge correctness on the part of their political opponents in almost any situation.

Outrageous - excessive, wildly exaggerated

eg Man, 27 once voted Democrat, holds up liquor store.

So I'd say it was outrageously partisan to make up facts, to make claims like 'worst in history', to attibute blame to a party or a ideology when the facts don't support that.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

"for the people of Chicago....suffering under yet another corrupt and inept Democrat mayor. Want to not have 8 shootings in one day? Want to not have rising crime and death tolls? Either elect a Republican next time, or bring in Rudy Giuliani asap for some pointers on how to clean up gang violence.'

But now Obama Inc. is using to claim that Muslim discrimination is a civil right that employers must accommodate.

It is for Obama and Holder and their ideological goons.

Douglas Shulman, former head of the IRS, visited the White House 157 times ...

Couldn't possibly be meeting with IRS to talk about status of targeting Obama's political enemies... The gun has smoked.

This is like trying to have a discussion w/ a child about taking cookies from a cookie jar, as the child is denying they've ever taken cookies from the cookie jar, while the child's hand is actually still IN the cookie jar.

It's so inane, brazen and absurd, that I really do think some folks are buying this load of go-se.

lil' rappy 130602

That's nothing more than Obamabots grasping at straws.

lil' rappy 130602

It'll be fascinating when we find out how Obama's deputy election campaign manager contributed to that process in 2012 during the campaign. I'm sure she has great notes.

There's a meme making the rounds (most recently pointed out by Wulfie on this board) that the last 5 or so mass shooters were "registered Democrats", and there isn't a scintilla of evidence to back that assertion.

Wulfie's claim was that "the last dozen" such shooters were all liberals, something which seems pretty outrageously partisan, especially since when asked, he ran away and never provided one bit of backing evidence.

What's the rationale behind this thread, by the way?

It's not personal. It's just war.

Ah, I guess it was to distinguish between insults and posters being deliberately provacative due to their over the top partisan claims.

Again, let it die if it isn't something that interests you.

This was posted in response to someone asking if it's either true or a big deal if the acting head of the IRS (a Bush appointee) met with the president 157 times since 2008. (By all indications, it's not true)

Seeking out facts and evidence is now seen as "Obamabots grasping at straws".

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Magons, I don't have much hope for this thread. So MUCH of what is posted here is outrageously partisan, I just take it for granted and hardly notice it. If we bothered to post everything "outrageously partisan", this would be one loooong, endless thread. And I guess it's bad enough for me that there IS so much of it, without highlighting it. MAYBE posting deliberate insults MIGHT modify some people; highlighting partisan statements, I think, would have little or no effect. JMHO.

And I see in BOTH threads now Rap has entered, for no other reason than to say "Nuh, huh; was NOT!" He obviously doesn't get the concept; it's what OTHERS deem to be an insult or partisan, it's not just HIS judgment that counts. It's sad he can't see that.
