AP Photo.The National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a secret court order, according to a published report. A federal judge ruled Monday that the National Security Agency's bulk collection of phone records violates the Constitution's ban on unreasonable searches, but put his decision on hold pending a near-certain government appeal.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon granted a preliminary injunction sought by plaintiffs Larry Klayman and Charles Strange, concluding they were likely to prevail in their constitutional challenge. Leon, an appointee of former President George W. Bush, ruled Monday that the two men are likely to be able to show that their privacy interests outweigh the government's interest in collecting the data. Leon says that means that massive collection program is an unreasonable search under the Constitution's Fourth Amendment.

Uh huh, and when has that EVER stopped them, they'll promise to never do it again, giggling all the while, and go right back to doin it cause when has anyone ever been penalized for it in any major way ?

Who's gonna enforce it, how ?
Is it even possible when the scumsucking pricks lie about it nonstop and blackmail, or even threaten, our representatives to get their way ?
And if it's *not* possible, then who's really in charge of this country ?
Shouldn't that be considered a coup, or terrorism ?

I'd accept complete disbandment of these agencies, but the only thing which'd feel like justice would be carpetboming their HQs.
