All I have to say is that I grew up thinking that doctors were free and Mexicans in Mexico were all like in the Three Amigos.....

How I wish it was 1992 again.....

My first, and very healty, niece was born!!!!!! :)

Although it seems that I'll likely end up being a worthless scrub for at least the short term future, I bought the first Christmas present I've bought in over 5 years for her.

It's just crazy how much i want to make sure she's taken care of, and she's not even mine.

All I can hope for is to be a reasonable sound board for her when her parents fight. It shouldn't be a hard job since I'd seriously question the entire institution of marriage of theirs didn't work out until they're old and grey.

My brother is one of the few exceptions I make to the rule that anyone from F'd Up divorced or otherwise split parents should never have a kid......

Looking forward to teaching her how to fish and fix things around the house, since that's all I really can do.

EDITED TO ADD: Oh, and I know a shit ton more about computers than 99% of the people using them today. Funny how people don't trust one another, but the same people will post embarassing things I'd never post online about themselves to their friends on Facebook (and the rest of the world and the CIA)

I never worked with those types until recently.

I'm fairly certain, given the "surroundings" today, that if I were 15 years old I'd be well on my way to beinng a soldier for some war I didn't even question. And that would hardly be on the government's dime unless you considered food stamps and their part.....

In general, especially to Niki, guns are NOT COOL....

I've owned a Colt .45 for over 7 years now. I took some stupid pics with it (unloaded) but even after my army bro taught me how to maintain it, it usually sits in a box.

If I needed an extension of my dick in real life, I would have bought a car I couldn't afford on credit that with RAPE terms I could never expect to pay back. They don't care... the government will bail me out with Chapter 13 or whatever. Don't think about that.... just mindlessly spend.....

I've done some horrible and vile things in my youth that I've never been called for in public. Most of them were not being there for people who needed a friend at the time. There have been three family members and close friends who killed themselves and although I know it's stupid to do so I still blame myself for not being there and being far too wrapped up in my own BS....

I believe in the right to bear arms.

I have a compact .45 with 8 bullets that are over 7 years old that I've never fired.

I've never fired anything more powerful than a self-pump BBgun.....

If the Zombie Apocolypse comes, I don't even know if it will still fire with old ammo. If it does, I know to aim between the eyes at close range. I'll knock out at least 4 of them before they get to my niece :)
