Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

They're getting more and more outrageous. Now, Bryan Fischer, of the American Family Association, has such a hate-on for science that he said people who believe in evolution shouldn’t be allowed to hold public office.

"We don't share ancestors with apes and baboons," he proclaimed. "In fact, I would suggest to you that if a politician, if somebody wants to exercise political power and he is an evolutionist, he is disqualified from holding political office in the United States of America."

He went on to say that evolutionists do not believe that our rights come from God, and therefore they can’t be trusted to protect and uphold our rights. Despite them being in the minority, these people believe laws, the Constitution and our electoral process belong only to THEM to foist their religion on the rest of us...

Can't say as I agree with his views on this, at all.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen
