If there was a party aboard Serenity, with each person picking a song from Old Earth, I always thought Kaylee's choice would be singing a karaoke version of "Firework", Jayne's choice was playing guitar to "Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys", and River's is "Stars" as dance music - she thinks she missed the train to Mars, she's out back counting stars
