They bent the rules so the horse could wear the nasel strip and he still lost, I hope the nag ends up in a can of ALPO.

CC came in 4th, and it wasn't all that close. I only saw the race, didn't hear the comments. Later on, I had heard that he owner, while upset his horse lost, was complimentary. But then, I hear folks saying he should shut his pie hole, stop complaining about other horses allowed to run, and go count his $.

Breeding fees alone will make this guy, and his whole family, stupid rich.

Turns out he's a gelding, no breeding fees from him.

OONJERAH

Even if he was a stallion, he's a cheap colt from a cheap dam & cheap sire.
He doesn't have enough of a record yet to offset his poor breeding.
i.e.=-> Cinderella horse.

... oooOO}{OOooo ...

Part of being smart is knowing what you're dumb at.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

OONJERAH - We are too dumb to live and smart enough to wipe ourselves out.
"You, who live in any kind of comfort or convenience, do not know how these people can survive these things, do you? They will endure because there is no immediate escape from endurance. Some will die, the rest must live."

“I think you’re probably looking at a $7 million horse. A very nice horse. But a horse that everyone says will have a $15,000 to $20,000 stud fee, ” says Peter Bradley, a Kentucky-based bloodstock agent. Bradley added that “he’s worth significantly more than he would be if he had done anything else in horse racing, given his pedigree.”

Not bad work, for a gelding

Would YOU pay $ 15 K in stud fees for a castrated horse ?

Not too many would.
