I heard the sad news today that Joe Cocker died. May he Rest in Peace.
His gravelly voice will be missed.

I can't help but smile and think of John Belushi doing his Joe Cocker impersonation on SNL.

RIP Joe.

When I was in the military he gave us a free concert during the Christmas Holidays. That was in 1975. That sums it up for me.

props to a certain radio talk show host who played an entire Joe Cocker song today on his radio program. Something that simply isn't done - ANYWHERE - on talk radio.

Quite a fitting tribute.

That brings back fond memories. Yeah, Belushi was a comic genius and that was shear flattery for Joe. I'm glad I got to experience them both in my lifetime, they don't come any better.

Sad, but true. I was surprised to find out he's not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and he's 97th of the top 100 Rock n Roll artists.
