I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

I just found this, and thought it was lovely, in its own austere way. The landscape has a logic of its own.

At 0:48, there is a man, standing between the rail line and the first expanse of ice/water to the right. He waves at the train.

I think it's time you disabused yourself of that pleasant little fairy tale about our fearless leaders being some sort of surrogate daddy or mommy, laying awake at night thinking about how to protect the kids. HA! In reality, they're thinking about who to sell them to so that they can get a few more shekels in their pockets.

That was next????

For me it was more Moby, News Bloopers, Hillary Clinton SICK!, and Worst Plane Crashes.

Well, that's the way Google and YouTube work- based on your past browsing history, it tries to serve up what it guesses you like.

heh heh heh

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

The horizon - always approaching, never arriving. What was that man doing in the middle of an empty landscape? Did he go out there just to wave at the train? And those farmsteads with not a road in sight.

Some of it reminded me of a dream I had, except I was driving a car, not in a train.

I got all Moby, except one Blue Oyster Cult.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!
