Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell defended a lawsuit to undo the Affordable Care Act’s protection of insurance for pre-existing health conditions even though it’s become a problem for Republican candidates in the campaign for control of Congress.

“Our candidates are able to deal with it,” McConnell said regarding a barrage of Democratic ads criticizing his party’s candidates on the issue. "There’s nobody in the Senate that I’m familiar with who is not in favor of coverage of pre-existing conditions."

The case, filed by Texas and backed by the Trump administration, contends that because Congress eliminated the tax penalty for violating the requirement that most individuals have insurance, the rest of the law including the consumer protections must be thrown out. Many legal scholars see the lawsuit as a long shot, including some conservatives who supported previous suits against Obamacare.

It's the most important election topic for Dem voters (Health Care) and it should be the most important for all US Citizens. Too bad the Dems are so terrible and Fear Mongering.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Health care IS important, and McConnell is a jackass for attempting to take away the one good element in Obamacare.

Coverage for pre-existing conditions is essential for millions of Americans, and it should remain in place ... like a stone in the shoe ... until they fix all of the OTHER problems with Obamacare (like the blow job that it gives to pharma) and make universal coverage not only possible but affordable.

But that's one of the reasons why I'm not too worried about the Dems taking the House. Like SIX, I believe in stasis on domestic matters. Also, all of the things I want Trump to do, he can do w/o Congress, so for me it's all up-side. I'd be a lot more worried if I thought the GOP was going to run the table, so to speak. If the GOP keeps the House, then it will be an issue-by-issue, state-by-state battle.

Trumptards hate Obamacare. They love the ACA, though.

Do you really interpret this to mean there is only one part to be removed? Did you read the quoted post?
Doesn't it say the whole thing is to be removed?
