I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

everyone is positioning and jockeying in adavance of the G20 meeeting, this time to be held in Osaka. Trump will meet with Putin and Xi. In fact, I believe that the meeting with Putin is set for 90 minutes, altho with Trump's erratic behavior I think they might be humoring Trump and not seriously attempting to reach any deals.

Of the 20 attendees, four (Russia, China, India, and Turkey) are likely to hang together in an "anti-USA" mode. Russia, of course, is being actively sanctioned by "the "west", China is in a trade war with the USA and facing stiff tariffs. The USA fomented a coup against Erdogan and almost got him killed, and now "the west" is conducting an economic, financial, and information war against Turkey and is sanctioning Turkey for its purchase of the Russian defensive S-400 missile system. The big recent swing was India, which until just a month ago was willing to play Russia off against the USA in hopes of countering the China/Pakistan axis. But India is also being sanctioned for their S-400 system purchase AND being tariffed by Trump, and in addition Trump sanctioned India's biggest oil supply (Iran). Modi's campaign is "Make in India" - like Trump, he wants to improve his nation's manufacturing economy but the world markets just aren't big enough to absorb all of the production that the big economies (China, USA, India, Germany, Japan, South Korea) want to make.

The G20 use to be a photo-op...until Trump came along. He turned into a working vacation for those clowns.
