According to Deadline, Firefly and Suits alum Gina Torres has signed on to star in the ABC drama The Brides. Torres will play Cleo Phillips one of the three female leads in this reimagining of the Dracula story. Cleo is said to be the leader of the trio of powerful women that Dracula has married. Once a queen, she was turned by the vampire king after the death of her husband. When a newcomer threatens her real estate business, Cleo must fight them off while also dealing with her decaying familial relationships. While the show will focus on the women, Dracula will be making an appearance.

Previously, Gina Torres was announced as starring in ABC's upcoming drama series The Brides, which is about the three brides of famous vampire Dracula. Now, another handful of actors are supposedly joining the series, including Katherine Reis, Chris Mason and Sophia Tatum.

Starring in the Harry Potter-based Broadway play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Reis has also had appearances in several movies and TV series, including NBC's Rise, Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and TNT's Claws. According to Deadline, Reis will portray the youngest of Dracula's brides, named Lily Stevens.

They better have some kick ass script writers, all I can say.
TV has gotten so freaking bland, I'll give it a try, but....
