Really, it's just time to build up alt-tech. Stop talking about it and do it.

The problem is that Bitchute as a platform is nearly a decade behind in options to Youtube for the end users, and because of that, only the most forward thinking content providers on Youtube are also uploading their videos to Bitchute as well as making their presence known on other alt-tech. There's almost zero money in it for them now. They're just making a gamble that it will pick up someday and they'll already be established there when it does.

There's just so much money in the hands of the Establishment, which now also includes a large majority of content that most people watch online.

And the real trick isn't just making the jump from grass roots alternative to the mainstream...

It's the impossible task of not becoming part of the Establishment once you get there.

Nobody has ever successfully done this in human history.

Just read an article where supposedly Trump is going to be unveiling a new social media platform by summer of this year.

Personally, I think he should just get behind some of the alt-tech that's already out there, rather than dilute the pool even more.

There needs to be legitimate opposition to the status quo. The internet was once a beautiful non-centralized place, but now there's only one website people go to watch user-created videos. There's only one Facebook. Only one Twitter.

There's already other platforms out there that provide the same service. They just don't have the built-in user base or the same innovations to truly compete.

If there's going to be new money behind this idea, why create an all new platform when they're already out there just waiting for more exposure?

Like who? All of the national news that I know of were dead-set against him, except One News Network. I only know of one regional publisher - LA Times- that was even sort of in the middle (They were the one newspaper that predicted a Trump win in 2016.)

In Trumps first two years, he should have worked towards modifying the regulations governing the internet. OTOH, considering that establishment Republicans in the Senate were busy sticking knives in his back - hence lack of prorgress on the border wall, and the continued "investigation" into RUSSIA!TRUMP!COLLUSION! long after the Senators (all of them) heard testimony from Crowdstrike and others that there was no evidence of Russian involvement in spreading the DNC emails - I'm not sure how far that would have gotten.

His other option would have been to support alt outlets.
