The symbols used to be in underground media, you had some shock magazine comic thing at one time, a weird VHS DVD slasher movies, the odd video on a heavy metal song or MTV the occasional tv show, an old Christopher Lee movie but now its everywhere, it could easily be in every rock song, rap song, pop song and nobody blinks an eye because all that pentagram, the gore and perversion, the all seeing eye and witchcraft crap is suddenly normalized?

I'm not sure what you'd call it maybe weird Witchcraft Pagan stuff, Mesopotamian Mythology or Masonry and Luciferian crap? Sometimes the symbols are Roman or Arabic, others Jewish or Eastern with a mix of gnosticism, kabbalah and freemasonry. The original Sabrina show was kinda funny, it had witches but was pretty wholesome and lighthearted, the new one is perverted, dark, weird and satanic.

American Horror Story is full of this weird Sadism stuff, I find the Saw, Human Centipedes type films un-watchable, a new trend in sadistic gore hollywood film making, some call it the worst of torture porn ... Hollywood being shocking jus for the sake of sadism, violence, masochism and gore.

more Hollyweirdo shitty themes and horror and shows and movies like 'The Black Door', 'Lost Souls', Manson My Name Is Evil, The Nightstalker, 'Hail Satan?', Eyes Wide Shut, 'A Dark Song',
You get movies like blackcoats daughter, pseudo intellectual movie the witch for the “smart” crowd. Fox now owned by Disney made Lucifer for the young adults or the 20-40 crowd.
Kids Teen stuff and Satanism in the toons, Sabrina and all the other witchcraft teen shows
Endless Horror Video games from Microsoft Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo and new Video Game Producers in Japan.
It goes on at the MTV and Film award shows.
Wholesome family tv dead, replaced by multiple serial killer, cannibalism themed shows

Maybe the supernatural has always been popular with books like Frankenstein and in the movies with Nosferatu in 1922
However I feel the movie themes or 'symbols' are a lot more mainstream now?

I remember the tv show that recently ended called 'Supernatural' had a lot of this stuff but the two brothers were typically good trying to defeat some occult power or fight against corruption, darkness and evil. I blame PirateNews, I never really cared for religion, I would have watched the odd horror movie but I never obsessed about the genre or followed an Occult thing I thought it was a waste of time, I never followed any tinsel town rumors. Oh yeah... It's all over the place now. Straight into the mainstream from out of the shadows. Bands like Anthrax, Iron Maiden and Slayer and their posters almost seem quaint in 2021 when little sluts that used to be Disney Princesses are making occult symbols in their videos flashing and jumping all over the place while "singing" about fucking their wet ass pussy.

I'm not particularly religious myself, and pretty much on the fence about that issue, so I don't care all that much.

It's probably never been harder to raise your kids to be at least somewhat decent human beings though. Parents have a tough job these days.

I just rewatched a movie I'd forgotten the name of but had stuck with me all these years. I couldn't find it anywhere, and it likely never got a DVD/Streaming release.

It was called "Warning: Parental Advisory".

It was a 2002 movie made by VH1, starring Jason Priestly and Meriel Hemingway (as Tipper Gore).

I know I didn't see it with any commercials, so I think it was being aired on something like Showtime back when it came out and that's where I would have caught it. I did find the full movie on YouTube, although the quality wasn't great. It wasn't so bad to make it unwatchable, but I get the feeling like this movie was forgotten about and it never got an HD 1080 release anywhere.

To be honest, it's quite a cringe-fest... particularly when it's the scenes with Tipper Gore and the other senator's wives in one of their rich-people homes. The music they chose to use throughout served to add to the cringe. It plays out more like a long episode of a TV show from the 90's than an actual movie. This is why, unfortunately, I can't give it a super high recommendation to anybody.

But the parts that always stuck with me were there.

The last scene of the movie shows Jason Priestly, who is now married to the woman who worked with him on the case fighting for the record labels against Government censorship, going upstairs to yell at his son to turn the music down, barges into his room while he and his friend were listening to rap music. He stopped himself midway through his rant and a light bulb went on in his head and he just kind of stared into space and said "Shit." Cut to black.

Such is the cycle of society. Free Speech is a wonderful gift, but it's also the reason for the never-ending slow-creep of degeneracy.

It's been a very long time since we were burning "witches", but nobody is in a witch-burning mood when life is good. The more difficult things get financially for everyone, you're going to see a lot of this stuff go away. I'd argue that we're already there since Pride Month was heavily muted last year and basically nonexistent in 2024. And if things get too bad for everyone you may end up seeing a lot of restraints put on the 1st Amendment for the so-called "Common Good".

My guess is that this is coming sooner than later and in 10 or 20 years free speech on the internet will be dead. And once it dies, that will be forever.

Once they start banging down people's doors for what they say online here like they already do in places like the UK it's over.
