Hey everyone. I thought I'd bring up a topic that was brought to my attention.

Today, after lending out my Firefly DVD to various friends on the 19th of June, I have, as of today, recieved it back

. It was a long time going, but I can be safe in the knowledge I've converted about 5 people

So, anyway, what is the longest time any of you have been deprived of precious, life giving Firefly?

ANOTHERFIREFLYFAN

Before the DVDs came out I fasted. I don't remember when I started, I think it was in the summer, so close to half a year, if not longer. It made receiving the DVDs and being able to see the episodes again so much more thrilling!

RUSTY

OH my freakin gawd....you guys have no idea!!!!

I lent my discs to my older brother so he would stop looking at me like I'm strange when I bring FF up in, well, pretty much every conversation. Of course, he's now hooked, and he lent to my younger brother who also loves it

!!!!

But,I have been without my DVD's for almost 2 full months

.... Everyday it's like going through the DT's, I decided yesterday that I can't take it any longer. As soon as I get paid on Friday I'm heading to the store for another set.

I think I may lock myself in a room an watch every episode this weekend just to get it out of my system!!

PROFESSOR

I'm a weak person, I refuse to loan out all 4 discs at the same time. I loan someone disc one and give them disc two when I get disc one back.

That way I can always have at least some discs available to feed my own fix.

And then they have to wait for the next disc, waiting makes the sweet even sweeter

I've been without my dvds for a week now and Yes I'm having withdrawal symptoms but on the plus side I have converted my brother in law and I think my sister too! Yeah for me! Downside, my friend now wants them too since shes heard me going on and on and on and on......... well you get the picture!
