On the local level it does, because unlike National elections you're not stuck with only one or the other. P.S. I'm assuming that it's a little known fact because almost nobody votes in mid-term elections, but that's also where they sneak past a lot of the property tax increases through referendums. Why put that through the General election where people are going to catch it and say "fuck no". That being said, my property taxes go up about $200 next year because all the dumb assholes that don't vote didn't even know they could have gone and voted last Tuesday against it. ETA: As to not doxx myself, I won't give specific numbers, but I found the results of the local education referendum. About 1/16th of the residents of the township are responsible for increasing property taxes on the rest of the township. About 1/32 voted against this increase. Come next April, about 29/32 are going to wonder why the fuck their property taxes went up again and not even bother trying to figure it out.

The 1/16 who voted for raising their own taxes are going to wonder why their taxes got raised. Only the 1/32 who voted against are going to know why.

Democraps rely upon Libtards not being able to math.I've never talked politics with her before... and although property taxes ARE adjacent to politics, I still don't feel I can get a read on her from the conversations we've had. I've talked to her husband quite a bit over the years though. He's certainly not a Democrat. But in this example, it's not even really a question of math. It was a question of trust and gullibility is all. They're still pretty young and dumb, and if they've been scammed before they still haven't learned from it. They were straight up lied to, and they did not take it upon themselves to do any research before they cast their vote under false assumptions that the school board planted in their (and their children's) heads. And the school board that lied to them and all the other parents are, and will continue to be, free to do so because there will never be any accountability for the lies.

Quote:You suggest it is not about math. He did not do the math, which is exactly what Libtards bank on and avoid. This used to be called Running The Numbers. Doing the math, oft to confirm your assumptions. He did not run the numbers, which really means he can't math.
Quote:I don't see the mystery.
Quote:He will vote, again, for more tax increases for himself, and for RINOs, Libtards, and whoever else plies words he is gullible enough to swallow.
