I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

The Salon article is a POS. It tries to make the case that both Joe Biden* and Trump are TOO OLD.

All of the Republican candidates acceptable to the author are dyed-in-the-wool neocons. In other words, they want to change the faces but not the policies that got us into the Ukraine clusterfuck to begin with (and that will continue with Taiwan, if they can get away with it.)

What they're doing is building a "narrative" ... It's not that Biden did anything WRONG, you see. The problem isn't that he's a corrupt transnational grifter who sent his son out as an international bagman. Or that he and his neocon pals in the State Dept, DIA, and WH rabidly followed a policy of "get Russia", which is leading to a military debacle, and imposed sanctions which are boomeranging all around the world, creating an expanded BRICS bloc. The problem isn't that he now has to try and pressure Kiev and Russia into accepting a "frozen conflict" status (unacceptable to both) so Ukraine can disappear from the news, only to be spun as a victory come election-time. The problem isn't that he opened the southern border or splashed money around like a whale at a Vegas casino.

No, the problem is that he's TOO OLD.

By the time that Joe is safely shuffled out of sight and the true cause and real scope of our problems becomes too apparent to hide, it'll be too late. Joe will have been loaded with baggage and shoved under the bus. Meanwhile the uniparty will hope that no one is the wiser and they can go on as ever before.
