I will be posting reviews here, of course, since the interest has been noted...but a few words on the future of those endeavors, since I have been working on something for a little while and now is as good a time as any to bring this up.

As many of you know, I've been looking for a new job, since my current consulting project is ending and changes at the home office have made progress there less than promising. This search has been fairly fruitful, and in fact there are two good chances for better positions. I'm interviewing for one of them very soon, and the other is with my current client.

However, as I suspected, these positions represent a big step up for my career. They would require a lot more of my time, and subsequently, my online time would be cut down dramatically. Even if I wind up not getting any new position, going back to the home office would have a similar effect.

So...what does this all mean? In the end, not too much. I am getting a new system at home which will have DSL access by early next year, so my home dial-up woes will disappear. I'll still be writing reviews and fic, to be sure.

But I will have to be more efficient with my online time. To that effect, I had already been in the process of developing a list of my own specifically for distributing my reviews.

This is not in place of posting here or elsewhere. Rather, it's a kind of safeguard and supplementary archive. If I can't post a review to the various lists and forums right away, the reviews will still show up on my list as soon as they are done. Also, not everyone enjoys my website formatting, and so this is one additional means of accessing them.

This would also allow the various people on the dozen or so regular lists and forums where I post reviews to have access and open discussion together, which is another advantage.

The list already exists, and one can sign up on my website. Obviously, I'll take requests through E-mail as well.

So thanks again for all the great feedback, and I promise that more reviews are on the way...
