DESKTOPHIPPIE


I like it! The cheerful colour works perfectly for Kaylee's character. Of course you put in two of my favourite facial expressions from Jewel (yes, I have favourite facial expressions from the characters. Obsessed? Me?) so it was always going to be a winner :)

I can't think of anything else that I would have added to it, if I had the talent to do anything besides use unchanged screencaps! Maybe add another pic with one of her bright, happy smiles? You wouldn't want to crowd the pic though...

Jewel as a goth. That was indeed the first ep of Higher Ground. Not a great show, but Jewel was a regular. I always thought it was unfair that they made her change into normal clothes.

Blue River
On Kayna's suggestion, I have decided to do a 'layered' series. Previous work includes Mal (A Man Apart) and Jayne (layered Jayne). This one is River (obviously). I love her facial expressions in BDM, and there just seemed to be an overall blue theme to her scenes. I love the shot of the flowy skirt!!


Layers of Jayne
I was really happy with how my layered Mal turned out and decided that I had to do one with Jayne. He is my favorite after all. Mmmmm Jayne.


A Man Apart
I'm not too sure how this one happened. Nathan has such an expressive face. But as Mal, more often than not, it's not a happy face. I guess it's just a reflection of how Mal sets himself apart from others and how lonely that must be. Couldn't think of any great expressions to go with, so let me know if you have something that might work!


I miss Wash
I know the phrase is overdone, but I just had this need to do a Wash sort of tribute. Hope you like...

Bring on the rain
It's been a while since I've posted anything, and I'm in a hotel on the other side of the country from where I live and I'm bored! This is one of my favorite images of Mal from BDM and it always makes me think of this song.

Well, I got great responses from my Zoe, so I decided that yeah, I'll do a series. I know this quote from Book is a bit overused, but it's still my favorite!
