Onboard the Iliad The old man stood in the med lad watching Kaylee as she breathed in and out evenly. The medicine she was unwilling been given should keep her a sleep for at lest another 10 hours, or at lest that what the old man calculation said. He couldn’t believe how close he was. Within a few days time they would be at their destination and then the preparation could begin. With in a week time he would accomplish his life long goal. And it was all thanks to the sacrifice of the girl in forth of him. A smile dawned on his face as he brushed back the girl’s hair that coved her face. She would be remembered for all of time. ***

Onboard Serenity Before them loomed a huge space station. It was the only sign of life in the system with no stars to light it and no planets to full it. It was the only thing in a vest nothing. Everyone of the crew, even River, stood on the bridged looking at it. “Wash?” Mal asked never taking his eyes off the station. “We got this message when we enter into the system.” Wash said and pressed a button. A strange female voice came over the speakers. “Unidentified ship, you are trespassing on privet space. Leave this system at one, or you will be fire on. This is your only warning.” The voice clicked out.

“She’s scared.” River stated “Scared they will come and take want is left. She’s a rabbit hiding in a hole waiting for the fox to run away.” Everyone turned and look at River. The girl just stood there looking straight ahead, not even noticing she was the center of attention. “There was a signal left with the direction. I sent it out hoping she doesn’t fire.” Wash said once everyone stopped look at River. They waited no more then 5 minutes, but it felt like hours. Finally the disembody female voice come over the speakers again.

“Firefly class ship Serenity, Please dock in the starboard docking bay.” The voice cut out as abruptly as it started. Leaving Serenity in the silence which it seemed to echo in.

“Well, let do what the nice lady said.” Mal directed Wash, who nodded his head and started to maneuver the ship to the docking bay. As he did that the rest of the crew made there way down to the cargo bay, everyone want to meet this mystery person that Kaylee felted so indented to. Serenity set down with a slow thumb and the cargo hold door open. There standing in the docking bay waiting for them was a women. She was tall maybe 6 feet or just a little over. She had long black hair that flowed down, and a kind of face that was ageless. There was no way to tell her age, she could have been any were between 20 and 50 years of age. She leaned against the docking bay wall watching as the crew came into view. Mal took the lead, walking off the ship on to the station. Everyone fellow him. The female push herself of the wall and meet them half way. “Captain Malcolm Reynolds, we met at last. The name Tiffany, I’m guessing Kaylee sent you?” She asked him

“In a way she did. We’re hoping you can help us.” Mal said and shook the hand that Tiffany held out.

“Where is Kaylee?” Tiffany asked with a seriousness to her voice that seem to command an answer. For the first time in many, many years Mal felt like a school boy who just got caught doing something wrong by the teacher.

“That is kind of the reason why we are here. You see Kaylee was kidnapped.” Inara answered for Mal, who seem to be taking an usually long time answering the women.

“Lio coh jwei neong hur ho deh yung duh buhn jah j’wohn. Yi dwei da buen chua roh.” Tiffany string out, causing everyone to take a step back. “I can’t believe that wong ba duhn has got her. And I trusted them, they said she be okay with you, but look at it now. He has her.”

“Hey now wait right there, Kaylee is safe with us.” Mal said stepping towards the strange women.

“Oh yeah she so safe, where is she if she so safe with you?” She asked the anger dripping off every word she said. The rest of the crew looked anywhere but at her. Mal though never broke eye contact. He had no answer for her, though he wish to the god he didn’t believe in that he did. “That what I though. Well it too late now, it over. Damn it!!!” Tiffany said shortly a storm out of the docking bay. Mal looked over his shoulder at the rest of his crew to see they were just as confused as he was on what was happening. He waited all of 3 second before following after her, everyone else followed Mal

“Now wait right there girly. We came here fore your help. We got to get Kaylee back.” Mal shouted to Tiffany back as she walk briskly up the hallway. She suddenly stopped when Mal spoke though word. When she turn around to face him, Mal could see she had started to laugh.

“Save her?!” Tiffany laugh out. “You honestly don’t believe that you’ll be able to save her form him do you?” By now the rest of the crew had caught up with them.

“An yeah, why not?” Mal asked her getting more confused by the minute.

“The guy who has Kaylee is the most ruthless man who ever live. He is the pure body and soul of evil. Every move he’s ever made since the day he was born he had plan out just so that the moment he took Kaylee for would happen. Now that he has her we will never see her again.” She answered him.

“Took the light, locked it up in a pretty box so no one could ever see it again.” River whispered so low that no one hear the words she spoke as she stood in the back of the group.

“Who is this man you know some much about?” Mal asked tried of being in the dark. It seemed to him that for too long everyone, knew what was going on in the game, but him and he was sick of it. Tiffany stood there in quite almost as if she was debating how much she should tell this people that Kaylee had trusted so much.

“He is Kaylee grandfather.
