Pleas
The puppy sitting on the lawn, with eyes so big and sad. Mal found him in the misty dawn, When he was just a lad.
Although the pup spoke naught a word, Its plea reached Malcolm's ear. And the desperation that boy heard, made fall a single tear.
Please young sir, please feed me now, for I have no family. Please young sir, please help me now, for I am greatly in need.
The soilder dieing on the ground, with eyes so puffed and pained. He found him lying near the mound, were bullets had so rained.
Although the soilder's voiced was choked, he had his piece to say. And the man who had once laughed and joked, had only one thing to say.
Please Sarge, sir, don't leave me now, don't leave me hear to bleed. Please Sarge, sir, please help me now, for I am greatly in need.
The old ship sitting in the lot, had been torn out from the skies. He found her broken and full of rot, but was beautiful through his eyes.
And though the ship had no mouth, through which to voice her plea, Malcolm Reynolds heard her out, and to him she spoke of free.
Please kind sir, please buy me now, for age has brought me to my knees. Please kind sir, please help me now, for I am greatly in need.
Who knows what horrors haunt the nights of those with troubled dreams. Who knows? Those memories, they just might, stir up some desparate plea.
Please good sir, please hear us now, please listen to our pleas. Please good sir, please help us now, for we are greatly in need
