Isreal should do two things. One, announce a unilateral end to all attacks on Palestine lands. Something like, starting Monday, unilateral cease fire and announce that no attack will resume until the "count of three" and that "peace is now Palestine's option". Remind the world that there are two avenues to peace. The first being the rode of nonviolent negotiation and compromise, the other being the the complete and total destruction of the other side. Again, make the choice Palestine's.

When the first rocket attack comes, they go to the UN and say "One".

Second, "Two".

Third, complete unrestrained bombing of all military targets in Palestine regardless of civilian casualties. A bombing campaign unmatched since the end of World War 2, followed by the total occupation of Palestine, followed by buses removing and depositing every Palestinian person beyond Isreal's new borders.

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of 'Total War' rather then genocide.

And my solution eliminates the historical context.

In my scenario Isreal unilaterally stops fighting giving use a means foreward for the peace process. If the Palestinians decide to pursue a military course, then they reap what they sow.

The point is that of the two sides, Isreal can stop fighting and make a peaceful solution, the Palestinians cannot do that, therefore Isreal has the right to defend itself and end this conflict once and for all.

I think it will take a younger generation sick to death of it all, and global news making it more and more evident--plus an America which isn't unilaterally behind them (for many reasons, but probably the strongest because they're our main ally in the Mideast and the number of Jewish backers politicians have to pander to). Just a guess, that.

For me, that unsubtle "mind" (I use the word loosely) is a prime example of why America's mentality won't change any time soon. As long as America, and America's propaganda, continue to dish it out, they'll swallow it whole.
