He is currently on the show She Spies. Andy Umberger played the Dortmunder Captain in Serenity, Doctor Ronald Meltzer in the Angel episode I Fall To Pieces (he was the doctor that could disassemble and reassemble himself), but is probably better known as D'Hoffryn in Buffy.
