Gee, here (they who must not be named)goes again. The previews of the new( t.w.m.n.b.n.) show that premiers tonight looks pretty good. Seems like there's some good acting and edgy writing involved w/ yet another hospitial related t.v. drama show.

After what 'they' did to me by dropping Firefly AND John Doe....what's the point anymore ?

( I'll forgive them for dropping Dark Angel, because it ultimatly paved the way for Firefly AND because the writing on that show was getting ridiculous. Jessica Alba is still hot, regardless. )

Is anyone else weirded out that the main character on that show is being played by a british comedic actor?

"Could be he's harboring some resentment at us for putting his man through our engine."

I'm Zark and I approve this message.

I wasn't weirded out by that.
I remember him from Blackadder.
He was a riot!

I was weirded out by how often I thought I was seeing Caroline Dhavernas. Guess I just miss Wonderfalls. (sigh)

Which reminds me...must pre-order the DVD from Amazon.com

I rather enjoyed it. Which means it's good. And it's on Fox. Which means it's getting cancelled.

Check the Neilsen ratings this weekend. If it didn't make top 10, don't bother watching, because it'lll get the ax soon enough.

I watched it just because Bryan Singer is involved with it and I happened to remember JUST as it came on (funny, though, I hadn't heard of it until a few days ago).

It was interesting, a little different but not TOO different. Since it's a medical show it stands a good chance of sticking around (What are the three types of sure-fire dramas? Medical, Lawyers, and Police).

I'll watch another episode or two to see where it goes, but so far it hasn't sold me as a must watch, which is hard to do nowadays.

I was actually going to sit down and watch this- I thought, ok, boycotted their station long enough, maybe I'll give this one a shot- I hadn't tuned into Fox since Wonderfalls (thanks to those on this thread that brought up THAT painful memory ) but I thought House looked promising- Then, right before it came on, I saw an advertisement for The Swan - I turned off the channel and went to play on the computer- Sorry Fox, not going to sift through your trash for a few treasures-

Not Fox, at least I don't think so, but do you realize that "The Simple Life" is in it's third season? Two rich girls going to farm land gets three years and Firefly got cancelled in a half? Something about American Television just isn't right.

Kaylee: Wash, tell me I'm pretty
Wash: Were I unwed I would take you in a manly fashion
Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty?
Wash: 'Cause you're pretty

It is Fox, actually.

Not only does it get a third season, but there's a "Lost" episode of the second season they are showing.

Lost. Sure. Somehow I don't think there can be such a thing as a 'lost' episode of a reality show. Someone should contact the gov't about false advertising.

I didn't bother because it aired Tuesday at 9, which is in direct conflict with my extreme enjoyment of UPN's Veronica Mars, which already has been picked up for the entire season.

Well, I liked it and I'll give it few weeks - if I can figure out how to watch it and Veronica Mars (VCR issues).

Far from being weirded out by the prospect of seeing Hugh Laurie in the role, I was excited. If you've seen him in more than Blackadder or A Bit of Fry and Laurie, you may have seen a darker side. However, I was weirded out by not hearing the accent!

I liked the look at the non-compassionate doctor - nice change from the noble doc - and what a cast - some potential there.

What I didn't like was the continual close-ups of the Vicodin bottle - OK, OK I got it the first time.

The other thing it has over some of the F*X cancellations noted above, is that it's not on on Friday!
