It could just be me, but I was looking at the sneak preview figures for Star Wars Episode III and the wookiee warrior seems to look a lot like D'ARGO from Farscape. I've always been a star wars fan but it's starting to look like good old GL ran out of bad ideas and is borrowing from good Sci-fi, and if that's the case, EP III is going to be about as good as an Uwe Boll film.

On a good day, hell can look alot like LA.-Playing God

Star Wars has always been full of rip offs. WWII war movie dog fights, Erroll Flynn swashbuckler sword fights, western shootouts, etc.

I've seen the Wookie you are talking about, and he looks like he's wearing dreadlocks. Not sure why a wookie with dreds would make you assume he's a ripoff of Dargo though. Dargo was hardly original. GL did an alien with fleshly head tentacles as far back as ROTJ.

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.

I, however, still like Star Wars. No sci-fi is not a "ripoff" of the sci-fi that preceeded it. All sci-fi since 1977 has been "ripping off" the special effects of Star Wars. I'm looking forward to episode III. 30-40 minutes of space battle, lightsaber duel over a lava pit, Mace Windu lengthy battle swan song, what's not to like?

...everything else.

I've had my heart broken twice already; I'm not expecting much this time.

yeah, I'm not going this time...
IF everyone on this board raves about it
and can say that they were thrilled and amazed,
then I'll go the second week....

but I was bored to death last time,
and I figure I'll catch it on video sometime
(it isn't like I don't know what happens).

Unfortunalty I don't think I'm gettin out of this one...........a cetain twelve year (whom I know has better taste given that she likes Firefly) has already told me we are going to see this. Ah well, when Serenity arrives in September she'll really know what a good movie is all about. Sigh.

"This movie may be a beautiful butterfly, but I loved that damn caterpillar." Joss Whedon.

Ah, the poor grand admiral. Recognizing the origins of your screen name, Thrawn.
