I apologize in advance for the shameless self-promotion, but...you know.

If any of you Minneapolis Browncoats are looking for something fun to do on July 15th, 16th, 22nd or 23rd, allow me to make a suggestion:

I have written a show entitled Paxton Vs. Pullman which is premeiring at the Brave New Workshop at that time.

The plot description is as follows: In 2003, Freddy fought Jason. In 2004, Alien fought Predator. Now, in 2005, Mainly Me Productions brings you a battle so epic, it cannot be held within the confines of a mere movie screen.

Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman are two of the world's biggest "Aren't-You-The-Guy-From?" actors whom Hollywood has left out in the cold. Suddenly, they find themselves thrust to the top of everyone's list in town, as they discover themselves on opposite ends of a vast Hollywood conspiracy to assassinate teen sensation, Lindsay Lohan. Not only does Ms. Lohan's fate rely on the outcome of this battle, but the world as well.

Come see people pretending to be an all-star cast, including Peter Gallagher! Tara Reid! Hilary Duff! Meg Ryan! The indestructable Bea Arthur! The best action/adventure isn't on the big screen, it's at the Brave New Workshop July 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd.

Tickets can be bought by calling (612)332-6620, or ordered online at www.bravenewworkshop.com.

Past productions of Mainly Me Productions included Video Guy (Named one of the ten best of 2002), Sober Cab, and The Many Rejections of Calvin Waters.

Why am I telling you all about this? Clearly, we all have the same taste, and this quote about last years show should let you know what kind of show we're talking about: "That was just like Buffy, except no vampires or deaths."

I'm available to answer any questions you guys might have.

After all, you need something to tide you over until September 30th.

PINGJING

This sounds fantastically funny. I wish I were living in Minneapolis right now - I would definitely have come.
