Many have asked how it feels to now be 30 years old. Well, I'll tell ya it don't feel much different than 29.....yet.

But it is strange to realize that my 20's are now over. No going back, no holding on, no more being called a "young adult". It is middle age from here to 60, that is when senior status starts to kick in.

Guess that means I now have to act all responsible now.....

......NAH!!!

Koff;

I've been practicing being in my thirties for nigh on 7 years now. Still haven't quite got the hang of it, and the whole "Responsible" thing shows blissfully few signs of kicking in. So don't sweat it!

Besides, the twenties are for culling the herd of brain cells and racking up bad relationships (hey wait, that sounded like fun!). Ah, well, "plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose!"

IAC, enjoy! And Welcome back to this side of the sun (my geeky way of saying happy birthday)!!! (if I may)

Keep flyin'

Hiya! I am 34. I really am not sure why, but turning 30 was really depressing for me. I cried quite a bit for about 2 weeks before my birthday. You know what though? The morning of my 30th birthday I woke up thinking "what's my problem?" Couldn't figure out why it had me so upset (I think that the remark about the 20s being over was the main one.) One thing I have noticed though - once you turn 30 you are much less apt to put up with other people's bullsh#t. Good luck to you! Oh yeah - and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

P.S. Turning 30 doesn't necessarily mean you have to "act responsibly" although I suppose it really depends on what you mean...

turning 30 was grounding, but I'm kind of glad to not be in my 20s anymore. I've felt like a 30-something most of my life anyway, I just managed to catch up chronologically.

old Dinotopian adage: If you haven't grown up by age 35, you don't have to.

I found the way, by the sound of your voice--so many things to say.
These are only words. Now I've only words. Once there was a choice.
