Wonder if any of you can help me...I'm looking for a specific piece of jewelry. I have it in my head. I can visualize it perfectly...I can't find it! Does anyone know where I can have something made or perhaps an online store that might carry uncommon items?

It's so very simple. it must exist. gah.

I know theres lots of other sports, but I figured I'd go for hockey as i've palyed it (albeit badly) before, the non-skating version with out all the body armour, so learning to skate and trying out Ice hockey might be fun.

I think its time to stop showing off the sparkler though, one last chance to admire it everyone, and then its going away. I'll just keep it in reserve for when Citizen gets out of line.

Don't you try and confuse me with your doublespeak and mathematical posturing, I'm a grown child and I won't stand for it!

(ps. I didn't understand what you were talking about last time around, now I've had a chance to read it in the cold light of sober: I have never said, and would never say, that the IBM PC is better than the Mac, I have often, however, said they are in fact superior )

Seanny needs a time out!

Seryn: I understood the falling hem whatever thing you posted earlier!

Willie: There's a person that I think posts occasionally on fff.net that makes replica jewelry. She might be able to help. Try searching for MonkeyMama and if you can't find her let me know and I'll see if I can dig her up out of the NC Firefly Yahoo group. And if THAT doesn't work, try starting a thread. Or drawing me a picture to see if it's something I could do. I have a bit of jewelry making experience, but it's mostly beading. No metal or anything.

Calm down Sean,

Honestly, you men and your hormones!

I simply meant that I am having to much fun being crazy stalker girl, and even though the ring is away now it still remains ready and waiting for the next time you attempt to give the Hope Diamond or some other equally tacky keepsake to some doxy of yours.

I hope by the way that you fully appreciate my gracious decision not to hold that against you.

My horoscope today says: "Though you may draw admirers like moths to a flame, keep them circling for now, est everyone be incinerated. The stars frown on starting new relationships now, but you can make promises to keep later."

So I ask myself: Where are my moths? And since when do stars frown?

I want moths!

Anybody want to be my moth?

Oh Seryn, dear, please don't mistake my understanding you to mean that you DON'T talk complete gibberish. It just means I understand gibberish better than most. I'm gifted that way.

And on that note, oye, it took me forever to cut out the pattern pieces for the piratey costumes this weekend. Since I'm making it for 3 different people with 3 different sizes, I had to just cut out the biggest size and I'll have to pin and all that. I'm going to pick your drobie brain for help when it gets to doing the sleeves for the corset because I'm not sure how to get the correct measurements from Mai and Kelly and how to translate that to the corset I'm making for them (which is really just a vest that laces up with some boning in it-not a real corset corset). I'm afraid they'll have the same problem I have and that the arm straps will be too long. But I'm not ready for that yet. I haven't even cut out fabric or anything.

But I found an incredible plum coloured suedey fabric that I'm using for Mai's corset. It's looovely. Which makes me glad I didn't say yet to the nice suede stuff you found.

This should have gone on the other thread, huh? Oh well.

In that dreadful Casanova film, one of the characters said something like 'be the Flame, not the Moth'

Which is all very sage and deep i'm sure. But I sat on the bus home thinking... How do you know you are being a flame? If everyone is busy being a flame, then who is there left to be the moth that confirms their flamyness? And is it infact, nobler in some small way to be the moth that brings validation and happiness to all those flamy people?

And then I remembered that that film was a pile of crap.

I'll be your moth Serenity! (luna moth, 'cos thems purty...)

I am a moth in the night, watch how I flutter...

I like cutting the fabric. I like pinning and cutting and then having all the nice stacks of bits and pieces to sew together (if you've cut them out right, which I don't always do.)

But I don't like cutting out the pattern paper because it's so frail and I'm always afraid I'm going to tear it.

Okay, no more sewing talky now. Promise.

Some of your Random neighbors probably have DVDs you could borrow. I don't think they actually say it, but I think DRDs are little biomechanoids anyway, so the analogy was wrong.

OK

So every year i get to apply for a grant from a charity called The Family Fund, these people help out families with disabled or sick children to get some respite, plus bedding and clothes, or washers, stuff that directly affects the child. So this year I applied for the respite and bedding (chloe sweats alot so bedding gets washed and needs replaceing alot) anyway i digress

i knew they were really behind so when i applied i didnt expect to hear from them for a good while, and since i applied in october, it was a good while. so when my mail comes i make 2 piles, junk and open now. so on sunday i was going through the junk pile ready to bin it all, i saw this envelope that looked like junk, i turned it over and it had the family fund stamp on it, so i opened it and there was a cheque for £500 inside, and I nearly threw it away.....

imagine it

BUT, I can do this now. £ And also © and ™

And I found out I can only do that in Word. WordPerfect wouldnt' work for me. Which is annoying because I never use Word. Oh well.

But CMS! My computer is a very nationalistic English one and I can do this ££££££ and this $$$$$$$! Pretty nifty. Though I don't often have much use for dollars come to think of it. Who needs money anyways? Oh... wait.. umm.. all of us. Yeah, I'll go back to my comfy bed, I won't be any trouble there I promise!

Why would I get a new operating system?

And why are you sick? Don't be sick!

Drink lots of tea and get lots of sleep!

Can't sleep. Must work.

Of course working is probably how i got sick. I never get sick. But when you're on a physically tiring 12 hour shift and then stand next to a cougher, you're more likely to get sick. And that 24 hours awake didn’t help my headache.

And now my dad gets to go to Mardi Gras and I get to wallow in my sore throat. thhbbbbbttttt!

I still can’t believe my folks are going down there. But they’ll have fun. *makes plans to go to their house and try out the hot tub*

I used to work really long shifts back when I worked at a shoe store. Ass't manager, which I will never do again, thank you! 60 hrs a week, less than minimum wage (cuz I was salary) constant foot pain. It was terrible.

So, you have my pity, of yes you do.

Since you can't sleep (and neither can I) I recommend as much water and hot tea as you can guzzle.

And maybe popsicles!

You seem to be running Republican 0.06a. It's rubbish on handling your computer's resources, and keeps making aggressive network connections to other machines without going through the proper IP protocols.

Upgrade before the entire network explodes!
