Fortunately, when it comes to tea spraying, only the keyboeard is at risk, the computer its self is as far away as my eyes will allow, and i'm perched in the comfy chair, key board on knees.

(which is why I can spend so much time in this place, if I was at a desk I get two maybe three posts in before my butt protested)

I have a very comfy office chair. And I had it at the exact perfect height, but someone else keeps moving it on the weekends, which makes me very angry. They only have to sit in it for an hour. I spend 40hrs a week in this chair. Leave it be!

It's big enough I can sit lotus style in it, and it has a lumbar thingy for my back and I'm short enough that the back of it works as a head pillow, where on taller people, I'm sure it barely supports their necks. And it's one of those chairs that can rock back.

Thought I'd drop in to see how everyone's doing... Everything's cool here. Mount Cosmic has stopped erupting. No more crazy, hormonal lava flow.

(I was being stupid the other day. No idea what came over me. Had to clear my head and regroup. Think it's worked. Glad to be back though.)

Is it cool to rejoin the proceedings? How's everyone doing? What's this talk of Muppets? Are you discussing the new Muppet reality tv show?

And, for Seryn, because she asked kindly in the last thread: Aaarrooooggggaaaa!

Well, yesterday, when I was at a stop light, the engine was kind of revving and slowing down. The RPM needle was moving up and down, up and down, just a little bit, but in a steady rhythm along with the engine. It's fine when we're moving, it was only doing that when it was idle.

That could be many things, My first thought is perhaps Fuel injector. There are little bits that get dirty and collect deposits that need to be cleaned. Using a higher grade fuel on occassion and adding those cleaners to the tank on occassion can help with that. But, I'd let a pro look at it. My knowlege of cars and various problems is less than vast.

I don't want to take my car into the shop. It's so gorram expensive and I'm soooo close to having enough money saved to buy my ticket to London.

It figures something expensive would happen now to mess up my carefully laid plans. Grrr.

I'll try one of those additive things. I just filled up my tank.

You know, I'm kinda proud of myself. When I was sitting at the light, listing to my car go VROOooOOmm over and over, my thought was that there was something wrong with the fuel injection system.

Lying on floor & comfy.

I know cars. It's one of my many day jobs.

Is your check engine light on? Open your hood with the engine running and listen for a whistleing noise. Let me know if you do. I'll have more questions and maybe some answers in a while.

Stop wiggling so much!

The check engine light is not on (but that doesn't mean anything, it's a very unpredictable light). I'll go listen for whistling later.

I'm hoping it's an easy fix. Earlier this year, when I decided to go to S3, I had a talk with my car. I told it that it was not allowed to have any expensive problems this year. It had a tune up not too terribly long ago and I keep its fluids checked and filled and all that. So, it needs to do it's job and not have any major malfunctions. We have an agreement!

The check engine light comes on when the computer has problems with any of the actuators or sensors attached to the engine. It should really read "Seek technical support" because your engine will always be there, no matter what. You too have agreement eh.

Remember how I said I only anthropomorphize cars, guitars and copy machines? Oh, and vacuum cleaners. Because they're evil.

I think that the sensory thing on my check engine light is messed up because it would come on, I'd take it to the shop, they'd read it and it'd be some old thing from 2 months ago that I already had fixed. Or it was nothing. But it hasn't come on, so I don't know what to think. But I will go listen for whistling later. I will. Right now I have to do some actual work (gasp, shock)

yeah, I have a paid account. And I played around with the settings and all that. I think you can still do that. I don't remember. Go under Manage and then Styles and I think you can change stuff around there. I'm not an expert by any means. I just took a setting and change the colours around a bit. It was all purple before, but I'm not such a huge purple fan. And then I changed the font, too, because I could. That's all.

And as for icons, I steal(I mean, credit and use) most of mine, or beg a friend to size them to use. They have to be 100x100.

And it wasn't doing the thing, the vrOOooMM thing. I let it run for a few minutes, but it was fine. I didn't think about it at the time, but I could have tried putting it in drive and seeing if it made it do the thing. But I can't have it in drive and listen under the hood at the same time.
