I have a cough, my mums forcing this stuff on me, bronchial balsam, its flavoured with liquorice, I detest liquorice, but it also contains ether and chloroform, so I guess i won't care much longer.

Well, another dose of it, I was only left twitching slightly for about 2 minutes as opposed to 5. But now everything, lips, throat, everything tastes of it, is it possible to go for a substantial length of time without touching the inside of you mouth with your tongue? well, i'm testing that out.

aye, they could have contributed, but i'm still sure the wooden, antique for godsakes, rollercoaster had something to do with it.
They are like the doughnuts we get over here through the winter, so yummy, smell divine, but after the first one if about half over, the oil starts to hit. So small bits at a time and its great.

I stopped taking it, because i am weak. Yes It really ahd chloroform in it.

I'm now taking just pholcodein (spelling?) wich taste better. So much better in fact that I find myself licking the spoon.

It may not be as effective, but I'm much happier, and much more pleasent to kiss according to my niece, (and my mum and every other member of my family who I've said hello to recently)

Maybe I'm wierd, but I never understood why people complained about taking liquid cough or cold medicine. I think it tastes fine, and sometimes that cough medicine can be quite soothing as it runs down my throat--all tingly and warm.
Have you ever taken children's dymatap? That was the miracle drug when I was a kid and I loved the way it tasted. Grape Jelly Bellies taste almost exactly the same.
Anywho, kissing nieces? Ahh, how sweet! How old is she?

I lived in Germany over the summer with my cousin's kids and his wife. His youngest is like that, too. At night, when I'd put the two of them to bed, she would insist that I read a story book before I could read from the chapter book. She had to sleep with Mr. Teddy on the right side and her blanket on the left. I asked her why it had to be that way once. She just kinda rolled her eyes and said, "Allie! It's because that's the RIGHT way." ?

I think you're right, us grown-ups know nothing.

When I was a little kid (as opposed to just feeling like one now) I used to draw roads on my driveway with sidewalk chalk. Then I'd ride my bike around on them. My favorite rides at a theme park were the driving ones. I couldn't wait to drive!

When I lived in Germany I'd go bike riding with my cousin's kids. There were all these country roads that went off into the fields. We'd always ride and play cars on the roads.... Ahh, I need to go home! (to Germany)
