ja...fa.... c a k e s.

There, all written down, along with twirls/spiras, starmix, wine gums and rooibos tea.

You probably will like the accent, if only for novelty sakes, it changes frequently and unpredictably, and is influenced by about six different countries, two different t.v show, four regional dialects and at least two time periods. Not to mention the BBC... tis entertaining, to say the least.

And I though maybe something unique and topical - a 'shine' of Browncoats.

(or is that just bowing to whimsy?)

A Shine of Browncoats! I love it!

Where do you currently live again? I lived in Camden, London whilst studying abroad back in 2000. Had a great time.

Also, did you know that I designed a 'Tree shirt for all of us to wear at D*C? Mai is looking into costs right now, and it doesn't look like they will be very expensive at all.

Heh heh. Yep I think I think perhaps Brigade is the right word!

Because after D*C none of you are allowed to go home, you understand?! See we (Serenity and myself) have got this plan to turn the "Browncoat Crusade" into a lovely little reality tv show where we all travel around in a big whompin' RV and take over the world! Or ummm.. at least find some new recruits and fund the commune.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The wife & I will be there again this year. Wouldn't miss it for anything.

We stay in the International Tower of the Hyatt Regency every year. A little quieter over there for when you want to squeeze in that one hour of sleep every night.

yes, parties in the works.

So far we have Pirate day, when everyone has to be a pirate, obviously.

And birthday day, when its everybodies birthday, cause wouldn't you know it, everyones birthday is when there are no-other browncoats around to celebrate with, so we all get a second, official one, like the queen

and of course, there has to be one day where we do the Firefly costumes.

As for actual 'who the hell sleeps when they have a hotel room to party in' parties -hmmmmm... *think* ...we could just do it the normal way - quantity of happy people + a larger quantity of alcohol + music = party. (shake well and stand back)

oh my god, why will the Cloven Fruit game not leave my head?!?

So, will they answer questions like: What events does my membership allow me to go to? Do I have to pay extra for autographs? Are all the cool, really shiny event passes gone? Is that $50-$60 a day? I'm busy at school right now, and I'm too lazy to look. I WILL, so you don't need to scrounge around an answer all of my questions for me.

Other questions include: Is there room avalable to bunk with some of you nookers? What am I looking at for room and board ($?)? Do I know anyone that can find me a good deal on plane tickets?

If this is possible, I'm gonna try and do it!

The $60 covers everything except some autographs and of course anything else you might want to b uy. I'm pretty sure the $60 gets you into any program track you want, but I'll let the D*C veterans verify that for me.

It is $60 at the moment for the WHOLE weekend, which is amazingly low and a great deal!

I know that ItsAWash was looking for female roommates. She has a thread in the Talk Story forum about it.

Frickin whoopppe! Oh, I love that guy!

They've done loads of articles in SFX about him at various conventions, he's apparently a total maniac, absolutely brilliant, really funny, he's certainly funny in his interviews. Aparrently he and Micheal (shanks) make the perfect comedy duo, they're really good to see at theses things and dance like drunkards at the parties. I almost went to find a SG1 convention just to see them. And now I don't have to!
