So guys? What in the name of Shepherd Book is going on? Where are we all? What are we doing? Obviously going through a town where Random is thin on the ground at the moment. Surely though we must be able to get it back. I miss you all!

Right what do we have to look forward to? Hmm.....? Well NFA is coming up. Who is going? Alas not I. Though I wish I was really! Crayola is exceedingly excited. Like Mr Kipling and his cakes. No... wait.. Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes not excitable ones. My bad, sorry.

Rel, any more car trouble recently? I must have missed you at C9 because I've seen the pictures. Did you hear about the Dalek that made me cry? It was very traumatic I think I'm scarred for life!

Everyone else, I need to feel the Random love people! And on that note, the crazy girl is leaving the building!!! Make me happy people.

Penguins are one of the most resiliant birds around. Can stand temperatures of -70 degrees.... Course they can't fly for toffee so you've a fair point, but why would a penguin need toffee anyway!

I love penguins. And puffins. They're so darn cute. I prefer not to think about them getting eaten by orcas, thank you very much.

And, I actually HAVE seen a baby camel! In a zoo! It was cute and it did have a hump, but it was a baby hump and it was doing the folding down thing that humps sometimes do.

Wow! Really! Thank you :D I was in Australia recently and I was hoping I'd come across some Camels just to, perchance catch a glimps of a lil'un and it's hump... No luck though :( But I saw lots of other funky animals: Wombats - just about the cutest animal ever, tree pandas and rock wallabies! They have some pretty funny looking critters out in Australia.

Hey :D we seem to have stuck a cord with each other :D
Cool.

I've seen Alpacas and Llamas in the wild when I lived in South America (Paraguay) as a kid. Of course back then I had no idea what they were but see them I did - mostly when we'd drive to Peru or Bolivia.

Ironically here in England you'd think I'd be miles away from Llamas, but in fact they introduced them round here (south east) to keep sheep temperaments calm. Apparently Llamas and sheep work well together so every so often you can pass by a field of sheep and see a few Llamas lurking about. Quite odd really :D I'll have to take some piccies for you.

As for Australia - yeah wonderful place. I have a pic of some wildlife I'll try and dig them out and upload them. Actually I say Australia really I only saw Melbourne and the surrounding area. I couldn't possibly claim to have 'been' to Australia really, it's so vast, and the pics of these animals I'm afraid are from animal sanctuaries I visited - didn't see much in the wild. Except Possums! Which are hyper cute and hang around in trees waiting for food. They're funky aswell really tame and they let you stroke them. They kinda hang on trees like spiderman does! Really funny.

Ok I'll see what I can dig up :D

And goats! Man goats are funny - don't they just make you laugh. The way they sneeze! Cracks me up! Do you know if you do the sign of the devil y'know that kind of Rock hand gesture with the fore finger and the little finger extended and made into a fist, well if you do that in front of a goat, they go into 'head butting' mode. Really funny creatures.

I caught Gekos and saw a cobra in Australia (it had been defanged though). Wallabies are kind of cute, plus driving interstate you have to have Roo bars on your car, otherwise you might run over a Kangeroo and it comes through the windscreen and kicks everyone to death.

Kangeroos have a dark side.

Not the best shot as her face is covered by her front paws. This one is a female about 18months old and she was really friendly and playfull and loved rolling about in the dirt. However when she matures and tends to the serious matter of motherhood her temperamanet changes, apparently, and she will become alot more wary. Still bloody cute though... *Sorry Steve Irwin moment*

RELFEXIVE

There's not enough hours in the day, especially when people keep you doing things that take all your limited free time of a night. At least I got to watch Lost. Now I have an hour before bedtime. Bah.

My car's okay, Alison - shut up Alison! oops, sorry, habit - but it's making a funny noise. And I think the brakes are getting a bit soft. Needs a service and general checkup. It's MOT time in exactly a month, so I hope it lasts till then so I can get paid and afford to get it seen to.

Bloody thing.

Yay! Pictures! Thanks for sharing!!

That wombat is so very cute! And I love Meerkats. Okay, I love most animals, but Australia does seem to have more than its alloted share of adorable and interesting creatures!

If you do a wombat cartoon, I would very much like to see it.

And, in other things:

I have a Question for you SerenityConners:

I'm curious as to what a typical S3 day is going to be like. Can you give me an idea as to what the itinerary would be? I'm just very curious becuase I'm having a hard time imagining it all in my head. I doubt the actual itinerary (if there is one) would be up yet, I just want an idea is all.

Thanks!

I can point you in the direction of the old one if that helps at all. Just give me a sec to find it. As a general rule I would say expect to sleep little. Too much happens to sleep, too many people to see and things to do and oh yeah waiting around. But its fun waiting coz you're waiting with your friends!

Bear with me a mo whilst I find the itinary I know I have saved on my puter somewhere.......

Umm, yeah. I can't find it. But here's a rough idea taken from what I remember!

Fri
- Arrive, check in, meet Browncoats, go to bar.
- 8ish. Opening ceremony. Guests introduced, surprises announced should there be any! etc.
- 10ish. Party. Theme to be arranged.
- 2am. Main hall closes we gp to bed but can't sleep coz we're too excited about having our pictures taken with Jewel/Morena/Sean. Delete as applicable!

Sat
Last time the photo sessions happened in the morning from 9. And the autograph sessions happened in the afternoon from 4:30-7. When you're not doing these things you're mostly just sitting, laughing, getting lunch, etc.
- Fancy dress in the evening, which I missed due to pizza consumption!
- Then party -2. Again theme to be arranged.
- Bed/hotel floor party!

Sun
Pretty much the same as Sat. Autos and photos. Morning and afternoon.
- 8ish. Closing ceremony where it gets very sad.
- Party -2.
- Bed, probably not in the hotel coz of getting kicked out the night before after the floor party!. Can't sleep coz of the realisation that it's over and we can't do it again!

Hope that helps CMS.

It's hard to decide whether the most fun is in the scheduled or unscheduled stuff. This time, I intend to be awake and sane for most of the weekend.

They make pills that keep you awake for 60 hours straight right?

And also pills that make you sane?

*places order*

They are both the most fun!

And pills that make you stay awake for 60 hours straight are called pro plus. Take one regularly and you'll be high as a kite.. umm.. I mean rareing to go... I mean full of beans... well you know what I mean.

Just don't mix them with coffee and/or Red Bull. I tried it once, bad things happen!

What kind of person would want to be sane? You have to work, take responsibility, admit that necrophilia is a little...um, unpracticed by nobody I know or am!

Heh.

I think a little chaos is in order.

Only the insane are strong enought to survive. Those who survive judge what is insane.

I wish I could go to S3. I just don't have the travel budget.
