Well it's week 10! And everyone is doing a shiny job. I think everyone (myself included) has hit some bumps, but everyone has continued along! Congrats!

Now for my update. I found time (and more importantly space) to do 1 1/2 sets of my workout. Though we'll see tomorrow if that 1/2 was a good or bad idea

Later today, I'll search for those roller-blades

I just got back from the gym- did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 20 on the treadmill. I think I burned a total of 370 calories?- something like that. Hope everyone is doing well!

Ah, it has hard to believe it has been 10 weeks!

Didn't go to the gym this weekend, but I did do some major walking. Put in 6 miles on Saturday and another 8 on Sunday. My wife has really gotten into it & has even joined a walking club at her office. The kids are enjoying the walks on the trails at the local park, but they do whinge a mite about the pace I set.

I'll be in the gym again this afternoon. Only fourteen more weeks to Dragon Con. Got to look good in my costume.

I forgot to add that I did my PM yoga last night as well. This week is the last week of school (I work in a public school district) so it's gonna be a bit hectic for me, but I think I'll be able to get in at least a small workout each day.

Walked a few miles to and from work today and then tossed in a short little workout at the gym afterward.

May try and step it up tomorrow if the hacking has subsided.

I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical, maybe 45 minutes(?) or so of weights, then 20 minutes on the bike and 20 on the treadmill. I had extra time since I don't have to go to work until much later so I thought I'd make the most of it. I burned just over 420 calories I think.

Forgot to mention that after my mom came home last night we went to the park and walked about 1.5 miles. I'm a bit tired today so I won't make it to the gym but have been trying to fit in some basic toning exercises- squats, lunges, sit-ups and such.

We all post when we've done something. For me (at least) it provides a motivation for actually doing something on a regualar basis (I've been somewhat guilty lately). A new thread is posted every week, paritially to keep the thread length managable and to keep track of time.

Which brings me to my update. Did 1 set today as I'm still somewhat sore. But, since I'm getting fustrated with upgrading my network, I think I'll probably go roller-blading for a bit.

Yesterday I spent going up and down stairs and swapping hardware on the computers on my network. You wouldn't think that it'd be that big a deal, but doing it as many times as I did... *sigh*

Anyway, back to work.

I don't need to loose much weight. It's really the whole toning thing. So I shan't post here again until I've been swimming! There's a local (as in, next door) outdoor heated pool so I really have no excuse.

Present stomach state: flabby

Well, I went to the gym on Tuesday and got in a hard cardio day. Burned 700 calories over the course of 1.25 hrs. Felt pretty good when I left.

Didn't get to go yesterday as I was a speaker at a Boy Scout meeting on the subject of Memorial Day. Pretty interesting meeting.

Going tonight to the gym.

Yesterday I walked a few miles between work and home. Today I'm heading to the gym around noon for some medium intensity cardio. Should be fun. Then off to work!

Let's see. Did sweet FA on the weekend, other than a bit of gardening Monday - it was bloody freezing cold and raining for weeks here! Just no motivation to get to the gym...
However, did do my weight class Tuesday. My joggin routine is now up to 1 min walk/2 min run for 8 repeats, which usually gets me approximately 250 cal burned. Did that yesterday at lunch and my yoga/tai chi/pilates class last night...Today's my day off, if you call walking the dogs a day off. But i do that everyday so i don't count it.
Will do a run again tomorrow.

Good see we all have bad days with no motivation but that we get back on the "horse" and stick with it!!

Back from the gym. Managed 30 minutes of cardio: 15 on the elliptical and 15 on the treadmill.

Slowly but surely I'm getting back to my old self.

Weight is holding steady.

Just got back from the gym- 40 minutes on elliptical, 10 on bike, 10 on treadmill- burned about 420 calories and am now exhausted. I'm going back later tonight with my mom to do some weights and stuff which won't wear me out, just make me hurt:)

Hi all! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.

My freakin' apartment FLOODED EVERYWHERE from a leak coming from the ceiling in my bathroom and kitchen and dining room. This happened on Monday and I'm STILL not in my apartment. I exercised Monday night, but Tuesday was spent trying to keep water from damaging everything. Wednesday I was given the keys to the apartment across from mine which is empty at the moment so I moved some stuff over there. Thursday was spent moving furniture for the guys to come assess the damage and clean the carpets. Yesterday I didn't exercise, which I feel bad about, but today I deep cleaned every single room except my bedroom, which in my point of view counts as exercise, especially in 100 degree heat! I still feel out of the loop though. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to move back in and then I can get back into the swing of things.

Just wanted to let you know I'm still here and still motivated!

Actually had time to workout today. Just 1 set though. But, something is better than nothing

Also, did the whole running up and down the stairs, with lifting computers to all over the place. I hate storms that mess with my network. All is fine now, but it took an hour or two to finally figure what the problem was and fix it.

At least it was an hour or two of activity

That's terrible! I'm so sorry, and yes, I say that definitely counts as exercise!! Doing all that you did would wear me out in a second.

I went to the gym today but wasn't feeling very good so I only did 25 minutes on the elliptical- burned about 210 calories. I then did about 1/2 an hour of toning/weights. Feel good though- my diet has been pretty effective.

Good to hear that it's been effective.

I'm not working out today because I'm working a double shift: 10 am to 10:30 pm. I've been running around and moving a lot at work so far, so it's pseudo exercise.

I'm trying to get someone to go for a bike ride tomorrow, but I don't know if anyone will. It's supposed to be in the 80s with crazy high humidity.
