very funny.

Yup, my cat adors my keyboard, even though its not warm,

I just think she can't stand the fact that when i#m on the pooter I pay more attention to it than her.

No, It's all of them. Most kitties are insane. I know one, appropriately named "Mischeif" who absolutely loves to be spun around in fast circles while he sits on an office chair. The chair stops, his head wobbles as the dizzy effect passes.... then he jumps back in the chair and perchs in wait to be spun again.

ok, we're talking about mad pets now, so do you want to know what just happened to me?

Ferret.

Thats what happened. My mum goes out to pick up my sisters dogs and walk them round the park, leaving me to cook dinner. (i'm a dab hand at stir frying whatever is in the fridge and then dumping a jar of sauce on top of it) so i go downstairs, look out of the window and the ferret is on the roof of the hutch. I go out play with her for a few minutes, then come back in, and in the time it takes to was my hands, the ferret is gone. I assume she's got down, and is on the floor, I go to the window to see if thats so... no ferret.
I happen to look up.... ferret butt two garden walls away, and moving fast. I go out, i try everything, calling her name, clapping chittering, kitty calls, banging her food bowl against the wall, everything. No luck.

Then a guy from another street (whose allyway, as opposed to our own, she is in) calls "have you lost a ferret?" (I was very good and resisted the sarcy reply) The upshot is, he has the gate to the allyway open, so I can go round and grab her off the wall. So I race round the streets, and he has her managed to get her down off the wall with his broom, she's sat on the broom head chittering away like its great fun. I grab her, thank him and run back round to the house.

The front door closed. I don't have my key with me.

Nor do I have my phone. our next door neigbour who usually had our spare key moved out a week ago, so igo up to the entrance to our own ally (which should be open, but our psychopath neigbour locked and spiked) theres no way ican get over the wall, even if i didn't have a ferret. I try Knocking on the psychopaths door and they ignore me.

So I sit there for an hour and a half, while my mother, totally oblivious, goes and has a cup of tea at my sisters. The ferret alternates between wriggling like hell and trying to climb all over my sunburt arms, to sleeping all curled up and cutesy, like butter wouldn't melt, in my hands. While all i can do it sit in the beating sun, on a bloody uncomfortable pointy wall, hoping like hell that my mother remembered to take her keys with her.

Needless to say she did, and i'm back inside, safe and well. My cat has graciously forgiven me for daring to be outside when she was indside and wanting to be fed, and the ferret is staying cooped up in her hutch until we can figure out where to put it so that we don't have Ferret Adventures the sequel.

Hey, a guy can be difficult if he wants to. Of course, if he doesn't want to, then that's fine too.

I personally enjoy being difficult. Means people have to work that much harder to cover me in ice cream or publicly humiliate me at a baseball game or make me think I've just won the lottery or....

You get the point.

Oh, Dave's been pretty difficult--what whith his disapearing act, his tricking me into being sundaed, and then his cover suit. Yeah, he's been tough to nail down. But because I know his weakness, and because Mai is a good friend, YOU'VE FINALLY GOT WHAT'S COMING TO YOU, DAVE!!
And, I'm sure it's not without a bit of a fight that we smothered him in icecream. (He was subdued when we told him that we were going to eat ice cream when we were finished sundae-ing him.)

Wacky fun!

It was a typo. Then when I went to edit the post I got the dreaded internal server error. So I looked at it again decided it fit and left it as is.
