well i did all that work over the weekend but every weekend my nutrition goes out the window so i don't really make any progress. for example on friday i had a 1/3 of a stuffed peperoni pizza, salad, bread sticks and a big thing of ice cream. saturday for lunch was the leftover 1/3 of said pizza and more ice cream and 3 beers. saturday dinner was a cookout were i topped myself yet and ate 2 chicken breasts, 2 brats, a plate full of pasta salad and a bunch of fruit and vegetables, then went to the ice cream place at 11pm and had sorbet. now you all know my dirty secret. granted i don't eat hardly anything monday through friday to make up for my weekend relapses but i still shouldn't do it. monday mornings i always dread stepping on the scale because i know i won't be in my weight range.

Did 1 set of my workout and went rollerblading. Same route as before. But, the wind today... oh the wind. It was like going uphill, both ways... wait. Did I just sound like my Dad?

I just looked up the distance on google maps, and the round trip is between 10 and 11 km! Hopefully, I'll be able to do this again on Thr or Fri. Eventually, I'd like to make this a daily thing as my cardio is rather poor.

Just got back from the gym. 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 on the treadmill. Yay for burning 700 calories!

I also did a weekly weigh-in. I'm down another two pounds since last time! 2 more and I get to get a new piercing.

Therefore I should go sell my plasma tomorrow so I have some spare cash to pay for it.

hahaha selling plasma for a piercing that is great i love it. that will also help you lose a few ounces. i myself am just about set on my piercing but i plan on a tat soon. what you getting done?

monday workout:
40 miles on bike very windy
heart rate monitor got to sweaty and slipped out of position last reading said 1500 calories but i don't think it is right since it also said i flat lined and i don't remember dieing
average speed 20.5mph
1hr 57min

mowed lawn i think that counts right? 45 minutes and i wore my heart rate monitor to see what i burned in calories and it was actually 425 calories. not bad for walking in circles for less than an hour.

I can't decide what to get. I really want my tongue pierced again (my barbell has a picture of Einstein--how cool is that?), but last time it was done I was a moron and it went to hell and I had to remove it. Don't know if I could actually get it done again, since last time was the 2nd time I had it done.

Right now I'm really debating between a little nose stud or a vertical surface piercing kind of in my cleavage, but a bit above it. The nose stud would last longer than the surface piercing, but I just don't know. Everyone has a nose stud, but not many have the cleavage piercing.

Though I am travelling and working as an organic farmer this summer . . . the chest one probably wouldn't heal well at all. I'll have to confer with my roommate.

I'll be sure to post pics/link to pics when I get it done.

yeah the first time i got my tongue done it didn't take well. the guy pierced it way to far back. the second time worked great i have had it about 10yrs now. the vertical piercing probably would be better in the winter time when you won't sweat as much. it would easier to keep clean for healing purposes. my gf has had her nose done for 10-12 years and has never had a problem with it. you could always do the septum. i don't see to many of those least not in these parts. i don't know what you already have done but i had good luck with my labret and nipple as well. my two eyebrow rings worked thier way through pretty quick though. good luck with which ever you choose and keep up the hard work.

here's the tat i want but i need to clean the image up some:

i love my bikes and my greyhound so it's a combo it would be a back tat

I definitely hope lawn-mowing counts!
I purchased a Reel-type (that's the kind with no engine on it; entirely person powered) lawn-mower, and have gotten it into my head to mow the lawn (1/2 acre) every day it isn't actually raining, except Tues. & Thurs. I've been at it for about 2 weeks now.
It takes about 1.5 hours. I figured rather than go jogging and have nothing really to show for it other than my super buff self (you should be laughing), why not beautify the place a bit?
Tuesdays & Thursdays I teach Tae Kwon Do after work, so don't get to mow.

Do you know what your sin is Captain?
Aww Hell. I'm a big fan of all seven.

Feeling a bit under the weather yesterday, so didn't get to the gym.

Got in a 2.75 mile walk at lunch today.

Heading to the gym this afternoon.

Keep up all the great work everyone!

Went to the gym and leisurely biked for 30 minutes and walked fast on the treadmill for another 30.

Came home, ate a light lunch, hopped in the shower, and promptly threw up my lunch in the shower.

Now I'm gonna go lay down and take it easy.

Yes it definitely counts!

Sassalicious I hope you feel better!

I went for a good three mile walk this morning as it was a lovely day. I've done about 3 sets of squats, numerous sets of 50 sit-ups on the exercise ball, and some of those calf-lifts or whatever you call them that you do on the stairs and raise yourself up.

Flattop and Mal4Prez, any time you're doing something extra that involves exerting energy, I call that exercise. Just getting yourself moving is an accomplishment in itself.

Sassalicious, I hope you feel better soon!

Today I did pilates for my abs and weight training for my upper body.

I feel fine now. It wasn't an "i'm sick" caused puke. I called my mom and we've ascertained that it was probably caused by my vitamin and my vitamin supplement drink I washed it down with. She seems to think yogurt wasn't enough and I always take it with yogurt (without getting sick), so it was probably the cracked out levels of vitamins I put into my system at once.

I'm so over vitamins. They've caused me nothing but trouble.

Did a heavy cardio day yesterday. 25 minutes on the crosstrainer for 325 calories. 30 minutes on the bike for 245 calories. 15 minutes on the treadmill for 100 calories. Took a long walk with the wife of 3 miles.

Going again tonight for weights and light cardio.

i myself have never tried any of the vitamins. i read somewhere that when you take a bunch of different vitamins you can cancel out the benefits of other vitamins. so instead of doing research to find out which ones are supposed to work together i took the lazy mans route and just don't bother.

i may not be the best at this issue since i am a binger myself but when i can't help myself i drink water until my stomach is to full i don't want any food. not very satisfying though. if you can find things that simulate bad stuff but have no fat that isn't as bad. i like the quaker carmel rice cakes (0 fat) but buy the small bag then if you do find yourself not being able to stop than at least it isn't as many. i find alot of my problem is when i watch tv i want to snack. maybe find something that will keep your hands busy like holding a book and reading or working on something like a model or puzzle. i hope you can find the strength or a good substitute

Thanks, I needed that. No, I think I'm good now. I went for a good 3 mile walk and now am all hot and sweaty. I never want to eat when I'm sweaty so this will solve my problem for a little while. I do drink lots of water but I'll try to drink more. Another good trick I learned was to brush your teeth a lot and theoretically you'll eat less cause you like the nice clean feeling in your mouth. My problem is putting the bag of chips down long enough to do that But seriously, thanks guys, I think I'm good for now:)

Yeah, the food binging... I'm a fan of fruit smoothies. Frozen peaches and raspberries and some OJ and some milk. Fills me up and has just enough sweet and fatty (from the milk) to satisfy the craving.

Did 1 hour with the weights last night. Hit the elliptical machine for 20 minutes and burned 250 calories. Then 20 minutes on the bike for another 175 calories.

I notice that I am sleeping better at night, waking up easier in the morning, and tend to have more energy during the day. Anyone else noticing increased energy levels?

went for 24 miles on road bike yesterday medium intensity since i raced wed. i am at 120 miles since monday

then promptly came home and ate 1/2 gallon of rainbow sherbert and got a well deserved belly ache. i buy the sherbert because it is fat free and staves off my ice cream addiction. i actually still lost a little weight from yesterday morn to this morn but that will screw up my blood sugar levels which doesn't help my general health. all the binge talk on the board i guess i need to confess this break down. worste of all is the weekend is coming and i know it will be happening again probably saturday.

That's awesome Persephone736! Give temptation the

I've been doing this for over a month, and certainly have noticed positives. It takes a while to get used to, but well worth it!

Did 1 set plus some more pushups and such to balance the rollerblading. Did a truncated version of the normal route due to that fact that it had rained shortly before I went. So, about 8 km this time with not as much "pushing" as I'd like.

The reason was that water, plus asphalt equals slippery. Those steep inclines with mud on them wasn't terribly fun either.

But, I didn't fall or anything, so I can't really complain much

Keep it shiny everyone

Hmmm, the board seems to be okay now but the last time I said that it freaked out on me again...I guess we'll see. Friday I went to the gym and did about 45 minutes or so of weights and toning. Yesterday I did lots of sit-ups, squats, etc. I don't seem to have any energy for cardio lately but mom and I might take a walk later this afternoon if we don't die from the heat first.
