well, i decided today that I was in the mood for fresh air and exercise (shocking random happening)so i'd walk up to the woods, take my mums dog and do a few circuits.

The weather was frickin miserable and I had to stay in all day and wait for the plumber.

so I had an Austen marathon and a snoring competition with my cat. (she won)

I've lost the point of this thread, I think it was something about too much sleep not being good either.

Still not unpacked?... oh well, it was a big weekend. Hope you are enjoying the church parties.
See ya soon.

That made all my past seem in shadow

that was it, don't oversleep, 'cause that can make you feel tired and tetchy too.

I hope you feel better soon, and to assist with that, it regularly takes me upward of a week to unpack bags properly!

Cheer up sweetie.

P.S. did anyone else have problems getting onto the site yesterday?

I'm doing something insane this weekend...a favorite band of my gf's is playing in DC this sunday...when I get off of work saturday night we'll leave to go there (roughly a little over 6 hour drive) and crash at her parents house (20 mins from DC). Then we'll get up on Monday and drive back to _my_ parents house to have the family July 4th get-together O.O

Dunno, for the last weeks I've felt really tired all the time and I keep getting headaches. Got home at about 6 today with a really bad headache and I've slept in till around 11.

Maybe it's just the heat.

Short day tomorrow though, got to be 45 miles around the M25 for around 10, be there two hours and then home. Air conditioning in my car to.

It could be the heat. I always get headaches when the temp. is really high plus the humidity in the summer makes it worse. If it persists you should consider going to a doctor.

I did last year, the doctor looked at me like I was lying and the specialist I eventually got sent to spoke to me like an idiot and eventually gave me a course of medication that would 'help prevent the headaches' if taken everyday.

Word to the wise, I'm not stupid and I read the documentation with medication I'm given, so if you think I'm crazy and you're going to perscribe anti-depressants to me at least tell me what you're giving me and why.

Doctors piss me off.

That's awful. I've been very blessed with a good neurologist who helped me immensely. But yeah, some doctors need to re-evaluate their career decisions. I do hope you can find someone decent though, best of luck.

You got your passport already? Sheesh, I sent mine out a month ago and haven't gotten it back yet. And I don't expect to for another 2-4 weeks. Man, the US sucks! (Okay, not entirely, but with passport turnaround it does!)

The main reason I ask about the water consumage is because most headaches are due to dehydration. Most of us are dehydrated most of the time and don't realize it. And then, with it being so hot and humid out, you're probably not drinking enough water.

I'm sorry your stupid doctors tried to put you on ADs. That sucks.

I was watching this thing on the Travel Channel. Drew Cary in Germany for the World Cup. It was the England/Ecuador game I think, and the British crowd was craaaaaaaazy! England scored and then all you could see were fountains of beer as people soaked the crowd in beer. Large men without shirts were doing cartwheels and flips (that was a bit terrifying.) It was hilarious.

Just felt like sharing.

I adore flying!

I did london to Boston once, and I liked it more than Liverpool to Barcelona (though that may be cause the L'Pool Barc. was easyjet and we were crammed into seats next to a bunch of drunk chavs.)
I find the alcomahol doesn't help at all - on easyjet they were serving beer, and in such a small confined place the smell just makes you so nauseous. They serve beer on trains now as well and I actually had to get deodorant out and spray the air, the smell was making me that sick.

But on non easyjet flights people tend to go with the slightly more classy spirits, so then you get lots of happy sleepy people, so thats fine. I tend to watch the clouds out of the window, then try to fall asleep without drooling.

I love turbulance! its all dippy and tumbly! so much fun. and the pilots are always trying to sound blase out of gritted teeth.

I've never experienced turbulance either on my limited number of flights, but I imagine it's similar to riding one of those old wooden roller-coasters. only with the tracks.

JADEHAND

Okay, I think Kelly said one of her friends made this. But ... ah well...

"I have been here many times before In a life I used to live
But I have never seen these streets so fresh Washed with morning rain
I have seen this face a thousand times Every morning of my life
But I never saw these eyes so clear Free of doubt and pain
Like the whole world has been made again."

CALLMESERENITY

Aw, Seany, stop being so silly. Of course we're going to like you as much IRL as we do here. And if we don't, we'll pawn you off on those smelly gamers that don't bathe the whole 4 days of the Con.

No worries!

Not sure if that makes me feel any better...

It remains to be seen.
