Alright, time for a new week! Here's the deal folks: I'll only keep this going if there is a genuine interest. I understand that we kind of fell out of the swing of things with the site troubles and summer being in full swing, but I'm not going to put up a weekly thread if there will only be one or two people posting. I want to keep the club going but will only do so if there is a significant interest. So...

just so you know if you don't put the link for the new week in the old week thread i never see it.

monday rode a hard 20 miles and yesterday rode another hard 30 miles. we are having a hell of a time around these parts with them damn japanese beattles. so i think i need to start wearing a face shield so i don't have to pick anymore of them outa my teeth.

i am wonderin iffen some people dissapeared when the site started having problems and haven't returned

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Been kind of a slacker this week. I was off on Monday and Tuesday. The gym was closed on Tuesday for the 4th, but the wife and I did get in a three mile walk. Monday I did a lot of projects around the house, so no gym.

Going to the gym today after work.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about the interest thing. Just seems that most people had crap happen to them about the same time ie Didn't Kelly just move? I just had a bunch of crap to deal with, etc.

So, keep it up. If worst comes to worst, we could pause for the summer as people will probably be going on vacation, etc. I was going to suggest that when I saw this thread, but seems that 2 posted before me so, not to bother

Today, I did 1 set and went roller-blading for about 1/2 hr. That sun today wasn't very fun... But, the plus was I got a good sweat on, so yay

Holla from California!!

I've been spending my past week running errands, running around the beach, a wedding, a water park, running around Universal Studios, fireworks/street fair, and running around Disneyland and California Adventure today.

Tomorrow morning I head to Hawaii where I'll be spending the next week and 2 days racing around a beach, snorkeling, boogie boarding, maybe surfing, and maybe diving.

Then I'm organic farming for a month. I hope to be able to check in and keep up with people's progress etc, but who knows. Internet access might not be readily available.

Hope everyone else's summer is going well!

Yesterday was way too hot, but today is cool. Unfortunately, today is cool because it just rained. So, roller-blading = bad idea.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Hit the gym hard on Wednesday and Thursday. Stuck to the cardio moreso than weights. Been burning an average of about 600 calories between the cross trainer, stationary bike, and treadmill each night.

Last night the temperature was down to 75 degrees at 5:30. Wife and I went to the park and put in 3.5 miles on the trails after the gym.

Walked 6ish miles to and from the beach and spent 4 hours swimming around Waimea Bay. Thought about hiking up to this monumnet/lookout point and then decided I was too hungry to attempt it.

Spent Friday night walking with the family at the park. We put in just shy of 3 miles. Played basketball on Saturday with the family after a picnic. Played for about an hour, then we walked two miles.

I will be switching to heavy cardio on Mon, Wed, & Fridays & doing weights on Tues & Thursdays. I am wanting to finish getting into the best shape I can by the end of August.
