It's a cross between the second and third images for me, I like the third one for the pheonix comming out of the lava, and the realism of the second for the pheonix. By the way, I'll take one of the palm roasted TRS1 burgers!

Well, we met at a mutual event, a year ago, and I was fine with the relationship until she started telling me that she had outside influence to approach me, which in itself wasn't the bad thing but out of the blue one day she starts calling the relationship one of boyfriends and girlfriends, after like the second time we saw eachother in three or four months, about two months ago I realized I didn't really want to go down the boyfriend route with her, so a month ago, I obviously got REALLY BAD advice to make her hate me!(OH, HOW GREAT THAT WORKED!) So, tonight when I saw her I started acting like a real Ass, and aparently acting like all her previous boyfriends all in one! I like her as a friend but am not sure about being her boyfriend, I need patch things up so she doesn't think our relationship is more than just friends.

Ok, sounds simple enough to me (I know, I'm not the one dealing with it). You need to tell her that. Just what you told me. Say, "I'm sorry about how I acted, but I want you to know that isn't me. I was freaked out about the idea of being a boyfriend (DO NOT say "your boyfriend") and got some really bad advice that the way out of it would be to make you hate me. But I don't want you to hate me, I want to be your friend."
No guarantees, she might be really hurt that you don't want to "be" with her. But being honest is really the best thing you can do right now, and the only thing that has a chance of working. It might be hard to get the words out, but will probably be a relief once you do. Ok?

Sorry, Penguin. If it makes you feel any better, it won't play on my DVD or laptop. I can only watch it in short bursts on my desktop, because apparently the playback catches up to the buffer every few minutes and it starts jumping and skipping on me. Of course, it IS an older computer.

Of course you don't suck. But whoever gave you that bit of advice about not being yourself has demonstrated that they need to go to Wal-Mart and buy a clue(they're on Aisle 4). Seriously, the next time they give you advice, you should do the opposite and it should turn out fine.

As for myself, I have made plenty of mistakes in my (garbled speech here) years, and I wouldn't mind going back and changing a few things. But it's like they say, to reach the top with success you have to stand on a mountain of failed attempts.

G'morning FORSAKEN.

It's good to see you all again. It's hi-larious to see TRS1 is at it again. Is (s)he a real person or just someone's alter-ego? Either way it's very funny! I'll pass on the TRS1 burgers and dogs, though. He seems just a bit too toxic for me to stomache.

Had one BUSY weekend. Non-stop go, go, go!

Friday night started with a dinner party at our house that included drinking Rose Lime mead from my favorite drinking horn (see the picture below), and didn't end till 4:00 on Saturday morning, when we gathered our clothes up from the pile and went back home.

All day Saturday was spent at Greenbriar State Park beach with the kids, then we went out to see "Cold Hard Cash" in Silver Springs. They are a dead-on Johnny Cash tribute band, and we know the lead singer well (one of the guests at our Friday night dinner party). Got home around 3:00 am.

Sunday morning was church, and then off to visit friends who had moved outside of the city into a new house. Swam, ate dinner, socialized, met some new people, had fun. Didn't get back home till almost midnight.

So here it is now, Monday morning, and I'm glad to be at work just so I can get some rest!

I hope everyone else had a great weekend also.

LOL! Yep, I go to church on Sundays. In fact, Tina is on the Board of Directors there.

It's a Unitarian Universalist church that is very VERY Pagan friendly. Several Board members are openly Pagan. We even have our own Nature Spirituality group that meets there to hold our ceremonies in the woods behind the main building. The Shamanic Journey group I belong to meets there the third Saturday of each month, and they are even sponsoring the chapter of Spiral Scouts that we are starting up.

In fact, a few weeks ago we took over the entire church to present a Pagan Summer Solstice service to the entire congregation where a bunch of us explained what Paganism means to us. It went over very well, and we even ended it with a Spiral Dance that the entire congregation joined in.

If you are not familiar with the UUs, they don't care what or who you believe in, just as long as you agree to play nicely with others. It's the way all organized religions SHOULD be.

Ah, ok, brain a little less broken now.
I have heard of them vaguely. Don't really look for churches to go to; any kind of organized religion gets under my skin eventually. Seeing as I'm basically at the edge of the bible belt, I don't know if there would even be such things in or near my town. The deal here seems to be "X-TREME Christian Worship" (I'm serious, they hand out flyers and shit. It's scary.)
