So, um, yeah, I know t here's very little room in your browniest of hearts for another show to fit snugly in your bosom, but the HBO epic Rome is coming out on DVD, and it's such a great show that I had to tell you about it. It's centering on the events in Rome during the time of Julius Cesear, and focuses on two soldiers; Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus. It's a really great show that I highly recommend. It's historical, but not in a boring way, and exciting and full of intrigue and suspense. If you missed it on HBO the first time, then rent it and watch it this week. You won't be sorry.

I LOVE Rome! I watched it faithfully and my best friend became obsessed with it( he would call me to make sure I would watch it!)! It really expolores the different worlds that co-existed within that time period. I really felt for the Titus Pullo character and loved Polly Walker in it, she was fantastic! It's definitely a "mature" show( it's an HBO production, so yeah there is nudity and cursing and lots of blood and violence, but hey, it's ancient Rome!)but it was paced well and had lots of intrigue and twists. I whole heartedly reccomend this show and hope others check it out.
