well...

I just have such a good self image, and camera's take great delight at catching me in my worst poses and giving me ample opportunity to dwell on any imperfections. Like now i feel i need to diet and get implant before i wear that corset again, whereas when i was wearing it i felt great.

Ah, insecurities, I don't have any until you point a camera at me...

but enough about my issues, woweee! lots of photo's! oh, it looked like a great weekend! and we were there! yey! And you look fabulous dear! may i ask who made that fabulous corset? (cheeky grin)

And doug - that is a face of pure mischeif! well done!

Of course the significant problem I have with meeting y'all in person is in keeping straight this entire second set of names associated with actual people. And, well, pronouncing them properly. F'rinstance, who knew that Alan is not pronounced as Ay-lan? Or that Sean isn't Sheen?

Looked pretty good, too!

I have accused Jadehand of being guilty of every victimless crime ever committed. There is indeed an air of mischief about him.

Darling, you looked FANTASTIC in your corset, as I told you already.
Truly gorgeous.

There's one picture of all of us that I think you look absolutely amazing in. Where is it?

Oh yes, this one!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/callmeserenity/237887222/

perfect pose, perfect smile. Adorable to the max.

I have the same problem, of looking at every picture of me and finding the faults. It's become a discipline now, where I just refuse to let myself be negative. *sigh* It's hard, but it's better than hating myself and how I look.

Menfolk, a little help here?

actually that is a really good one.

yes, i suppose discipline is the word (I wasn't fishing for compliments by the way, like i said, i have a good self image and i'm often more confident than my 'skinny' friends, i just dislike cameras, its like some one programmed them to show everything in the worst possible way, and then you see your self next to (a stunning looking) Summer, and begin to think that maybe you do actually look like that.) (but nonsense, i look how i see myself in the mirror, and thats fine, and if i get up off my ass and go the gym, (maybe get a boob job and invest in camouflage make up? no? too much? hee hee!) then i might like it better, but honestly, who cares, life is to short, just don't point any cameras at me!

wow, whole reams of crappy self indulgent waffle.
what was i saying? yes, that photo was cool, i may steal that and give it to my mum, for her album.

and i did see the one where I was pointing (bad me) *giggle* Serenity looks scandalised, its so funny.

Which one is pure mischeif?
I hate most of my pics. I learned to dislike photos of me when I was young, and to get people to not take picures and waste film (yes way back then they used film ) I would make faces. Now it doesn't work so well.
No insecurities allowed. They're all mine! Mwhahahaha!

I was within an hour of leaving from my 14 hour shift, which follows yesterdays 13.5 hour shift, when I found out I needed to stay another hour. One day, I'll be caught up. I'll respond to e-mails once my head is back on strait.... or at least as crooked as it was before the back to back (nearly) double shifts.
I miss my peeps, I wish I would have had more time to enjoy everyone. Silly con had me running so much that I felt like I didn't have time to relax with everyone. Would be nice to have a week sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing with you all. Perhaps we'll try this again sometime.

No, sweetie, I don't know.

My plan is, next week after I get back FROM ENGLAND, my grands will be out of town, so I'm just gonna take all the pics I want to print, save them and then print them all out on the photo paper I bought eons ago when it was really cheap at Staples.

I'm making myself scrambled eggs as we speak. I felt the irresistable urge to announce to the empty house that the Living Legend needs eggs.

the victoria and Albert museum

The really really big museum in london, thats not the British one.

Its where they have the pretty dresses, and the textile collections. And the ethnic collections, and the paintings furniture glass ceramics and medieval paintings collections.

Basically its one of the best, if not the best, Dec. Arts Museum on the planet.

you should have a look, y'know, if you ever happen to be up that way.

or if you have time off.

or if you have a day when you won't get fired for skiving and enough cash for th train fare to make a special trip to see itbecause its so worth it and i can tell now that after three years enforced separation i'm going to need to ask someone to come and pull me out at the end of the day because i won't be physically capable of leaving before they arrest me without help.

I love that place.
