Tough age group, but just right for squeezing in some Firefly references

And if it counts for anything, you're totally rocking the pale-is-sexy look. :) I wish I could pull it off, but I always just look kind of dead.

I'm very smart.

Good point. For those that don't know (and that's most of you I think) my name is Michael, and here's some more pics of me. That's right, you get more:

I'm blusing here... all this undiserved praise. Man, I wish this is how it went down in the real world.. I reckon I'd be a much happier man. I always had a sneakin' suspicion that the cute girls around me were more afraid of me than I was of them..... what do you think?

SMARTBUTDUMBBLONDE: I'm trying to figure that out myself, but you'll be the first to know when I figure it out. Chris Cornell.... alright. I was a huge Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog fan, and now an Audioslave fan by default. I can play "I am the Highway" pretty good on my guitar now. Still learning, but I'll probably put some clips on my MySpace when I feel they're good enough. I was playin' around the campfire a few weeks back until Ranger Smith came by and said that there were no "noise devices" allowed after 11:00. I told him that we laypeople call 'em guitars and that he could too. I can carry a tune pretty good too, but I'll never have pipes like Chris. He's a genius.

MARINA: You're quite a looker yourself. If I came out to the east coast should I leave the imaginary girlfriend back here in the Midwest? Maybe I could set up shop out there and have a real girlfriend and an imaginary job.

.... and then there's bratty.... don't think I forgot about you. You get your own very special message, which I will supply shortly, but I have to get back to work for a while and justify my rediculously middle wage pay.

Love ya ladies.

Alright, now that I have a few moments, it's time to comment on all the pretty people!

Sabri3L...umm, ever seen a movie called The Birds? Kinda worried me when I saw all the pigeons around you.

PR, nice coat! And that devious smile...pretty and worrisome all at the same time!

Nicodemus, did anyone else laugh at the fact that an ice truck caught on fire?

FWBBrowncoat, nice ride!

6ixStringJack, as always, nice to see you. My favorite is still the long hair photo.

VerseExplorer, it's nice to put a face with the typing now! Thank you!

BabyWithThePower, I love the hat! I assume that you will be wearing a Jayne hat this Christmas, though...right?

Sass, as I have said before...wow...and then I promptly fall over.

JustShiny, not sure if I have had the chance to talk to you before...if not, hello! Love the Zoolander pose, but I really like the other one...you have very striking eyes.

Chewie! Finally! I get to see you! Now I have a face to have in mind when I read my mail! And what do you mean costume? Those are my work clothes! (heeheehee)

WindStruck, wow. Stupid question...is that you in your sig?

Steamer, nice coat!

MRT, good to put another face with a name I see alot!

LadySings, I do not think we have talked, either, so Hi! Glad to see you!

Dayve has gone Warhol-esque...

MSG, as always...*sigh*

Marina, hello again! I have to say to everyone else...the smiling photos are worth seeing!

Cioccolata, it looks like they have you in the bowels of a Firefly...wires and stuff sticking out all over the place!

Seryn...I do regret the fact that I did not meet you! Hopefully, we can meet next year! Vague, DPR-shaped outline in the doorway...I like that!

RedLava, you look like you have a lot of fun, no matter what you do! Good picture...we can make out the Guinness sign in the background!

And PDCharles, my fellow Pirate! Arrhh!

Hell's Kitten....you just...I...mercy me...

FireflyForeverX7, good to see you! Don't worry too much about not smiling in photos...I am also not known for that. I do agree with the Inara resemblance.

Shiny, drool is good for healthy hair!

Oh, and I did find one where I am sorta smiling. This was taken at D*C. I do not know who took this pictures, but full credit to whomever it was!
And it is a typical photo...I usually have coffee in my hand...

Hell yes leave that imaginary, nagging, confrontative, and (shh) not too bright girlfriend and come on out my way! Jobs is easy to get round here.

SIGH. of course the cute girls around you would LOVE it if you offered to buy them a beer, blah de blah blah. you're probably right, and your low-middle self-esteem is all that's been holding you back.

But come ON! Goin on a year now...

Tristan: Nice post man. I nominate you for most charismatic on this thread. You seem to fit the Mal profile very well. Nice outfit too. To think that when I was younger I was a part of the crowd that usually made fun of conventions and people who went to them. Y'all got me wanting to go to one now. Got a lot of people that come together that have the same interests and they seem so much more interesting than the "in" crowd I once so desired to be a part of, and although I was for the most part around it, I never actually felt that I belonged there anyways. Oh... and my brother and I were laughing our butts off last night about Nicodemus's Ice truck on fire.

Yeah... Hell's Kitten... Red corset... 'Nuff said.

Bratty knows how I like a corset.

Casual: You got the award for pimp ride up in this muh. Ain't no way that my busted arse Cavalier is going to compete with that. If I had one of those, maybe I would fly to the east coast and meet up with Marina.... Then I'd take a trip to Colorado and say hi to Phoenix.... I don't think It'd have enough gas to take me to my Bratgirl in the UK though :(

juuuust kidding. No, wait, is it? I too am feeling a little self conscious. This is the first time I have uploaded current pictures of myself onto a computer since...September 2003. It was a big leap.

BWTP, actually, that was the short-lived SouthEastern Ren Faire at Horse Pens 40 in Alabama...back in, um...2000 or 2001. A friend and I started a production company to do one show for that Ren Faire the year before, and we went multi-State soon afterwards. It was a lot of fun, and I ocassionally miss it. Never made it to Bristol, unfotunately.

*hands on hips* Why do people think my regular smile is all devious? Apparently just by smiling I look like I'm plotting something or have gotten away with something. Well, oddly enough, if that is the case, I don't show my teeth. Or not much. *sigh* At least Jack thinks it's just a cute smile.

Hehehe... yeah Phoenix... you've got a beautiful smile. My name's not Jack though little darlin'... It's Mark.

I could see how the handle might confuse ya.

I love poker and I love guitar and though I can't really remember how it started or even which site I originally used the name on it's kind of an ode to the cult classic "Six String Samurai" and the fact that 6ixStringJack just sounds a whole lot better than 6ixStringKing... at least I think so. And 6ixStringQueen for that matter... heh. Hmmmmmmm... maybe there's a 6ixStringQueen out there for me....

Keep smiling. With all the ugly things we gotta see every day (buildings, pollution, war, anything on the news, etc....), it's nice to see something so warm and inviting on occasion.

If it weren't for pretty girls, well hell, I just don't think I could find a reason in the 'verse to make it all worth while.

To all who laughed at the ice van fire, we still chuckle whenever we see that pic, which is fairly often as it gets used a lot as a publicity pic. Want to know what makes it funnier? The bags of ice in the back of the van were still frozen, but we had to ditch them as the freezer stopped working, so although you can see it, just behind the van is a pile of bags of ice being offered to people driving past.

Sabriel - I have this fantastic toy prergrin falcon which plays a recording of a real peregrin falcon. We use it to evict the pidgeons that try to squat in the museum.

I've actually made a pidgeon fall off the ledge outside the window before now.

I'm kinda dying to play it in a big group of them and just watch them all try to very quickly not be there.

Hm...? Thanks for the advice, but I don't recall being critical of anything.

I guess I took your comment of you saying there were more pics of you, but you didn't think anyone would want to see them in a different manner than you intended.

Ha! Yeah. I have a Flickr account. I just uploaded pictures of trees. Trees. There are a lot of stupid pictures like that on my Flickr account that, in my opinion, aren't really worth the time to view.

I have become well in tune with who I am and how I look, and aside from a few self-deprecating remarks here and there - hey, it's good for the soul - I'm no longer shy about me:

(I, um, just really like those glasses...?)

edit: having looked at some of the flickr shots, I think i'm going to have to start calling you Channon.

If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)
