Right there with ya! Tried smoking once, coughed my lungs out and vowed NEVER to pick up another smoke again!

Hang in there Sabri3L, if not for your health, do it for a Browncoat that may be interested in moving up a state to meet you in person.

Mark, in the spirit of comprimise, i will attempt to dance closer to the dry ice machines in rock clubs.

Will that do?

Besides, say you're an absolute fool and fall madly head over heals for me (its entirely possible, i'm lovely) wouldn't you want me to taste all nice, as Rose just pointed out?

Hi Tristan (and all )! My first post here, technically. I used to post to FFF.net a few months ago but then got sucked into the world of Battlestar Galactica and kind of went away for a while. But I obviously love Firefly and want to get back with the Browncoats!

Tristan, it's too bad you live so far away! I'm way over in Arizona. I'd meet up with you in a flash. That is really interesting that you're an armourer. Very cool. I do a little bit with my local SCA, so I definitely have a soft spot for a knight in shining armour! I have degrees in medieval literature, so anything like that really intrigues me.

Greetings, RiverTwin! Glad to see you here!
I used to live in Phoenix (many moons ago) and I miss it every now and then. I don't have anything to do with the SCA anymore, but I do still armor and costume quite a bit.
Medieval literature? Shiny! I would love to continue this, so if you care to, feel free to email me tristan71@cableone.net
I like meeting and talking to other history 'nuts'!

which is why you never EVER mentally associate a favorite thing to someone else.

Not that i'm pessimistic or anything, but human's ain't constant, so if you go making mushy out of songs and shows and other things you enjoy (though, over the years, its got me a lot of jewellery and albums that i never had to pay for, so, its not all bad) sooner or later you're not going to enjoy it any more, and thats a shame.

oh, one post and i've managed to make myself look emotionally cold and materialistic.

well, nevermind, not to far from the truth!

You drag me out of the depths of Vietnamese history to squabble over fanbase awesomeness?

FINE, CHEESEHEADS are the best football fanbase EVER and BROWNCOATS are the best entertainment industry fanbase EVER.

Since I'm both, does this make me superior to all?

Nope , no squabble intended . Just want you to feel some SHINY Browncoat Love ! Besides , you know you needed a break from the studyin'...

But , if Wisconsin sucks so much , what are ya doin' bein' a Cheesehead ? Last time I looked , I think Green Bay was still in Wisconsin , right ?

Superior to all ? Of course not ! But you are clearly a person of some taste and refinement , bein' you're a Browncoat ! That just makes you clearly superior , is all ! The Packers thing is just a bonus...

Sabri3l,You now have my undivided attention!
You mentioned previously something about wanting someone intelligent in your age range.I don't believe you mentioned what your age was.I'm not sure what I can do about the intelligent part, but who knows,we might even like the same canceled TV show or something.Did you say you have red hair and glasses?Sounds good to me!Worst that could happen is that I might just end up with a cunning hat!
I've been zooming up and down between New England and Virginia lately.I know Pencilvania is somewhere in between there.Anyway,Hi there!Give me a holler!

I'm single, 34, live in Toronto, ON Canada, but am Flan II-bound, so maybe will see some of you there!

Not in a hurry to date again...last break up was bad...well...they've all been bad, actually, so whatever. Not *against* dating, just not making it my prime goal in life!

Big sci-fi geek...I always have been, but I guess I've just come out about it more in recent years. Also lean toward women-folk, but old enough to know I shouldn't rule anything out! lol
Wondering where all the other 'sly' Browncoats are, though...you must be out there somewhere...
Maybe that's a whole other thread!

Anyway, just recently joined this board, and thought the Browncoat Singles thread was pretty brilliant, so decided to stick myself on here, too! :)

Hiya Sabri3l,
Thanks for responding to my post.Loved your myspace account.I think you're very interesting, cute and we have a lot in common, and oh boy do I wish I was somebody else right now, somebody not 44yrs.old.
Although...,I was thinking it would be good to have somebody young to push my wheelchair or to help me get to my walker when I turn sixty in about twenty years!Seriously,I remember in my twenties being vaguely grossed out by the terms dating and old folks in the same sentence!
You're going to be just fine.Be patient, you'll find someone, you've got plenty of time.Anyway, when I said we had a lot in common I meant it.I'm an agnostic libra who was in a D&D club in high school although we called it the gamer's club 'cause folks played gamma world and other stuff too.I remember going to see roller derby movies in the 70's and loving them.It was mostly collisions and catfights back then, don't know if it's changed much.
I just had an idea for a perfect date:sit down with someone you like and watch all of the Firefly episodes and compare the dialogue to the scripts in the Official Firefly Companion and see how they differ!!!
So anyway, how much does a nakedly knitted Jayne hat go for these days?

DREAMWALKER

Finally gotten myself out of denial. My now ex-boyfriend decided the best way out of our relationship was to never return my calls and basically refuse to acknowledge my existence. I'm thinking I can do better.

Okay, what people probably want to know:
I'm 23,female, I live in New York State, I'm kinda self-concious about my appearence, so I'd rather not go into details. I'll just leave it as I have brown eyes and quasi-curly reddish-brown hair. I don't really think appearences matter, I'm much more interested in who a person is rather than what they look like. I'd rather talk to someone who has a great sense of humor and is intelligent than someone who just looks good. Of couse if I could find both that would be a bonus.

Anyone in here live in California? I'd love to have another Browncoat for a boyfriend or girlfriend.

I'm 22, female, slim build with brown eyes and hair that I constantly change the color of. I'm a fan of science fiction, fantasy, and cheesy action movies. I don't usually get along well with republicans. I'm a joker, and I don't take myself very seriously. You can read all the silly stuff about me and see pictures of me at my myspace:

Hey Dream... sorry to hear about your loss. My rents got the big D when I was 5 and I think I'm eternally single because I never saw how a good relationship was supposed to look like when I grew up. Got all these crazy ideals that nobody can ever live up to, ya know.

Being single is actually pretty fun 98% of the time. It gets a little lonely sometimes at night though.
